Hacking r4ids.cn Starting on DS lite.

I just bought a R4i 3ds which is meant to be compatiable with my DSL but after much hard work it doesn't seem to be working. I'm using a fat32 formatted SDHC card with the latest wood kernel. I have had previous r4 that have worked fine for years. I know how this all works.

What seems to be the problem? stuck at "www.r4ids.cn Starting? If so, where did you download the wood kernel? I had the same problem, what i did was download the kernel in r4ids.cn website www.r4ids.cn, extracted it and put it in my sd card, you can reformat it again if you want to but its up to you, after all of that is done, it worked for me. Thing is, i downloaded the firmware here in gbatemp and just download the first link that i encountered. Seems that the original kernel will not work on r4i gold 3ds because there is another version which is specifically for carts that came from r4ids.cn. Let me know if it helps you. BTW, i have it working on my 3DSXL.

I have have done all that but will try again. What im trying to say is that will it work on my DS lite?

It should be, here is what they say on their site

And its say's that the latest Wood Kernel which is 1.58 is for both 3DS and non-3DS carts.

where did you download the Wood files from?

the issue is either the MicroSD card or the files on the card as the Starting issue is that it cannot find the files on the Micro SD card

I had the wrong kennel. not teh one from the official website. Also I just loaded up my Pokemon Plat( which is the reason I bought this thing, to get my pokemon on to my legitimate copies) and it started again :/. the .sav file is there and is in working order (I made a copy of it and converted it so I could play on my emulator) Do i need to do something else?

Actualy I just figured it out by myself. I remaned the file to .nds.sav instead of .SAV and now it works! I can't thankyou guys enough!
