After trying for many years to get my Gamecube backups to work on my Wii, I've finally found a configuration and the necessary IOSs and cIOSs, and I found out about Dios Mios, which I hadn't heard of before recently. I use Cleanrip to back up my Gamecube ISOs to my USB or SD card, and then compress and transfer them to the correct folder which in my SD card's case is sd:/games/(game id and name) or, for my USB, usb:/wbfs/(wii id and name). Preferably, I'd like to load both Wii and Gamecube games from my USB drive, which is formatted as FAT32. However, when I try to place Gamecube ISOs in the same format as I do with my SD card and select my USB partition from Wiiflow, it doesn't want to select it for some reason or doesn't see them. USB Loader GX has never worked for me, and I doubt it will. CFG Loader is really nice, but it doesn't see my Gamecube games.
Another problem with Wiiflow is that games crash at random, both Wii and Gamecube games, which are all legally bought and backed up using Cleanrip. It's never at certain points with Wii games, however with Gamecube games, namely Kirby Air Ride (which I doubt anyone here's ever heard of or cares about, heh heh) it crashes whenever I finish City Trial mode and attempt to start a stadium. I don't know if it has anything to do with progressive scan or a lack of memory card, but I doubt it. I've tried to load other Gamecube games, but Wiiflow doesn't see those either, it's strange. Even if I delete Kirby Air Ride and replace it with Super Smash Bros. Melee, it only sees Kirby Air Ride and loads it somehow. It's not even on my USB.
I have Dios Mios currently installed, as I was loading Super Mario Galaxy 2 from it, which crashes at completely random points. I've tried using DML and loading games from there, with the same results. My question to you is, what is another alternate USB loader that works as close to flawlessly as USB loaders get, and works with Wii and Gamecube backups, or how might I get my existing backups to work with the loaders I have so that games don't crash? Do I need to have extra IOSs installed? I currently have cIOS 249, 250, 236 (just 36 patched, really, same thing) I think 222 and 223, and the normal IOSs that are either unpatched or unused stubs. It loads from 249, which I made sure is the correct cIOS needed to run the thing.
It's my first post here, so sorry if I did something wrong.
