Okay, Tempers; which is it? Which one do you have? Have you regretted your decision? Is your current CFW not enough for your needs? Is your current CFW too confusing for your children/roommates? Why would you recommend one over the other? Did the kmeaw>4.xx change bother you so much that you don't even know what you are on and don't even care?

I find that Rogero tends to be cutting-edge while Rebug is more stable.

Right now I'm using Rogero 4.40, but will switch back to Rebug when they release newer CFW.

Really? I have the exact opposite outlook on them. I usually used Rogero, but currently I'm on Rebug. Dat network ISO loading. (When it works :P)

I sat on Rogero 4.30 for a while. Didn't see the point of Rogero 4.40 as there was a spoofer out anyway. I opted for Rebug 4.30 because I didn't want to go through any unnecessary downgrades if I didn't have too. My PS3 fat, on the other hand, is on Rogero 4.40 and I'll probably only ever switch it to Rebug if and when they release a Rebug 4.4x.

Rebug 4.41.2 has been released last week.

@mschumacher69, I was waiting for you to woof your shit! Lol, jk (it's a colloquialism, no offense.) Checking out Rebug 4.41.2 now; thanks for the heads up! :D
Lol no offence taken ;)

You can install Rebug 4.41.2 from XMB on top of Rogero 4.40 by following the steps below:

1- Install Rebug 4.41.2 from XMB:
Download Rebug 4.41.2 from Rebug's website, verify the md5 hash, rename the PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP, put it on your FAT32 formatted flash drive in PS3\UPDATE, go to System Update and Update via Storage Media. Make sure there's NO original game disk in the drive and that you DON'T Update via Internet or else you would risk installing OFW higher than 3.55!

2- Enable QA:
Install Rebug Toolbox from Package Manager, launch it under Games, go to Utilities and enable QA. This is to ensure easier and safer downgrading.

Make sure you update mM to the latest version (4.40.00) to make sure it's compatible with 4.41 CFW.

Rebug 4.41.2 *LITE* Edition

meh, I'll pass.
LITE edition means it doesn't have the DEX kernel and the Debug features, which means it's a pure CEX CFW like Rogero's CFWs, but with the added stability and reliability.

Do you use DEX or the Debug features on your Rebug 4.30.2 REX?? If you don't, then all you need is the LITE edition, you don't actually need REX.

Nop, CEX is just fine for warez. And seeing how Rebug has made 4.41 spoofers for both, this thread could really be summed up with "Rogero 4.30 v. Rebug 4.30."

When I said I'd pass, I meant for both of my CFW PS3s (Rogero 4.40 & Rebug 4.30.2) as they are running just fine for my purposes. However, it is nice to know that I can now go from Rogero to Rebug without downgrading if and when I decide to do so.

Supposedly PS1 runs better on 4.4x, so I disagree about using 4.30 and a spoofer. I've switched over to rebug 4.41.2, previously always been on latest rogero and kmeaw before that. I'm not used to the coldboot or the install menu yet though.

I used to be on Rebug, but I had a lot of issues when connecting my Vita.

I had to format my memory stick due to issues and wanted to transfer my legally owned stuff, without loosing the Uno exploit.
The bubbles wouldn't show up on the XMB and at connecting the Vita, the PS3 would freeze. (I had to force shut it down and afterwards it would run a system check.)
I then switched to Rogero and all the bubbles were suddenly there and connecting was working fine.

Which Rebug were you running?

The bubbles wouldn't show up on the XMB on Rebug CFW, they would show up inside Package Manager. This is so as not to clutter your XMB.

Looks like it wasn't a colloquialism after all...
Oh, come now. I'm familiar with all of your arguments as to why you prefer Rebug over Rogero; in fact, I feel that many of them are quite valid. When you gave a link that would provide a detailed comparison of the two, I was honestly jazzed about it. I was hoping for fresh perspective on the matter, so when I saw that it was your viewpoints (again,) I felt a bit duped is all.

Lol I see what you're saying :P

Anyways, I'm not forcing anyone not to give their viewpoints, everyone is free to give their own ;)
