The WiiKeü (sp?) won't make an impact for the console if it's either a) too complicated, b) doesn't work on everything as it's supposed to or c) it costs too much. I'll break these points down a bit:
a) If it requires skills in the opening department and such, many will pass the product due to not wanting to break their spanking new console so soon due to error.
b) iEvo anyone? Great concept, but didn't work properly. Also those many 3DS "flashcarts" like the Crown3DS (sp?) are still not available and apparently worked only with a few games.
c) It's cheaper to buy a 7" Android tablet and get games on it for a price of sub $100. Why pay a huge amount for something that could possibly be disabled by a firmware update straight away after launch.
The console has few games at the current time so pirating will not have a huge impact anyways (though momentum will grow in the future with new games). As for dumping games, why not? The dumps themselves aren't worth Jack Schitt and won't affect the console in any way if there is no way of loading them. It's more like a digital database.
I'd hate to see the games being lost due to not being dumped. Many consoles of the past have had some games that were praised, but were lost due to low production amounts and rarity. Great to see a conversation that isn't based on "BAWW I'M RIGHT, YOU'RE WRONG AND I WILL REPORT YOU! BAWWW!"
That's probably true. I saw the initial batch of remakes and ports for the wiiu as developers "testing the waters". To see how hard it was to make a game for it, use the second screen, and (probably most important) how well those wiiu versions sold. The results weren't that stellar. The result is that nintendo now has to prove to the big third party developers that their console actually CAN be attractive to them.I'm not worried about devs not making any games for it because, to be honest, they haven't yet and despite what Nintendo fed us at the beginning, I don't think they ever would have even if a hack did come.

No f0f release, read between lines. I copy/pasted what sifjar said to hacking progress thread. The wiikeyu will be pricey and dumps only work with this device. So don't feel conflicted. Just don't buy it and know that likely 98% of Wii U owners won't buy it either. Not worth ruining warranty and guarantee it will be expensive. At least they are releasing something, lmfao. Not being a tease for attention and saying bs reasons for not releasing. Also not tossing it around that 31 have it and odds are they are doing what they say they don't want others doing. Maybe I, or others who know Dan Rosenberg, djrbliss, can get him into other devices. Then I know he is not some elitist, needs no attention, and does not lead on like some stripper promising things just for the attention.
Yeah, not going to buy it. If history repeats then this will likely be pricey. Since this is opening up piracy it makes no sense to say releasing hbc for Wii u mode will only serve piracy. Give it to devs who want to make something, lmfao. Done with it, others can run with it and finish up and/or simply share. Otherwise people better hope some other group is working on release for hbc.My warranty is already void since I installed the HBC on the vWii mode, so I can't reverse that part now. But as for backups and having to install a mod chip or optical drive emulator or whatever the crap this thing is. Too much trouble.

Or maybe the 31 they gave it to are people with... you know, character? People who can keep secrets and hold trust.Yes, and on gamepad screen. Like I've said, not being released. 31 are likely brats, and other groups have not mentioned working on what f0f says they did...and gave to 31. Such a funny lie. "exactly 31.". Lmfao.

Not a question of maturity. I don't tease pictures, tweets, posts on different forums, etc. Making excuses that are not valid. Just say "Not releasing" and be done with it. Like xecuter crowd on 360. I use Dan as an example of maturity. He says nothing leading anyone on. Believes in freedom. Not immature to not like how people like him just don't openly venture into game systems. Obviously not fail/bored enough there to give to "31.".
If people said "Developing, working out kinks, beta testers" hey, perfect. This all looks like a tease with bs excuses. Does not matter, opinion does not matter, so don't worry about calling me immature, lol.

Yes, they let their 31 have it, lol. Nice summary.Console hackers, cock-teasing normal users with something they don't have the balls to release due to unfounded fears? Surely, you jest![]()
