Hacking USB Loader: Which can do GameCube off NTFS?

not bullshit
unless you are playin a smartasses numbers game on me it is total bullshit

the max filesize of fat32 is exactly 4GiB-1cluster
no way around it other than splitting files

a file that's really 4GB (as opposed to what windoze calls a 4GB file, that would really be 4GiB) is a bit smaller than this and would strictly speaking fit
but when considering actual games most >=4GB are quite a bit larger and thus wont fit

If you still want to continue please provide some form of proof

He just doesn't know WBM strips down the isos from the useless content and that on his HDD the games are anything from 500mb to 3.5go~

People tell me Linux has problems with NTFS, but in the 7 years I've been a Linux user, I've never had a single issue using NTFS harddrives under Linux. And they can be read under Mac OS as well, so claiming "NTFS is windows only" Isn't exactly accurate.
Well there have been made some workarounds for write and read instructions for LINUX users that insist on using the New technology file system but I think it resorts to NTFS-3G, so it''s not excactly native so to speak.
But I agree nowadays they are compatible depending on your LINUX version.

Yet, this does not take away the fact that FAT32 it the recommended filesystem for Wii Usage
if the drive is only used for that purpose.

<sarcasm> Wow, this thread is still going on? </sarcasm >

Thanks for the replies. I dumped Mario Kart Wii with Wiiflow, and not knowing; Wiiflow dumped MKWii in WBFS format, and it's only ~2.3GB.

I didn't even realize that it was that small; and I did just find out that you can convert WBFS to ISO; which is the main format I need to dump the files. (I mod games)

Now, this is probably a dumb question, but can I use a SSD with USB Loader? I'm assuming yes as it's just another type of storage medium.

As far as I know yeah, like you're thinking the interface is the same and the case's job is to do the translation, the end medium shouldn't matter. I loaded my first game off a flash drive before my HDD arrived just to make sure my setup was working, even.

Lol me too.
I formatted my 1GB sandisk SANSA MP3 player to wbfs back in the "tehskeen"days!

Just use ONE fat 32 partition , why bother with separate ntfs and FAT?
Unless you want to use your HDD NTFS part for storing something other than Wii homebrew and games.
In my case I have a 4tb drive filled with Wii and GC games. You can not formate a 4tb drive to fat32 without a partiton. So it would be nice if it could just be NTFS. so I dont have to make partition. When you have ever Wii and GC game made, it makes it hard to have them all show up and playable on the (Homebrew) Wii.
