Throwing this nugget of wisdom out there - They should do a Halloween-themed update (throw some pumpkins, zombies, and spooky scary skeletons into the mix) and call it Terroria.

As cool as this update news is, I'm a still a little burned from the sudden drop he gave the game last year. With that in mind, I can't wait for Starbound.

Well, the people who were working with him on Terraria left him to make starbound... so the fanbases are a little split.

Also yay for Terraria having a new spriter aboard.

Hey, a man can dream.
They actually probably shouldn't release XBLA content. My bro and I have logged over 130 hours into the game and still haven't gotten the best items or finished all of the Xbox achievements yet

Eh, I prefer to start over at big updates since updates also add lower-level gear. When you already have weapons that can do 50 damage, a weapon that does 20 doesn't seem special.

This update is confirmed to be bigger than the hardmode update.
The hardmode update made the game like twice as long.
