On a serious note, when you're a new member the drive half the time is to increase your post count. Don't have that as a reason to post or else people will soon tire of you. Read the topics and think about whether you can contribute anything.

The other thing that REALLY annoys me is when new members hit and run help topics by posting "help" that is anything but, or opinion topics where they'll have a differing opinion but then fail to back it up. If you want to leech information from the boards that's fine. If you want to be part of the community that's great.....DON'T feel that you need to pretend to be part of GBAtemp's community just because you want a bit of help.
