Gaming E-Shop inaccessible after update

This is the first time that this has happened to me.

Any help is seriously appreciated.

Did you update to 5.1? 5.0 has that bug you mentioned.

If nintendo is treating the video capture card as a modchip, your probably screwed.

You might have to disconnect the video capture board before you can do the update. Then reconnect it afterwards.

However IF I really wanted to... I could remove the capture.

I'm not planning to send it in anyways.

My ways now are:

1) Hope for the next Firmware Update to fix this massacre

2) wait for the Hombrew Scene to advance so they can fix it.

Its funny though... the Supercard DS Two I borrowed still boots fine...

Hmmm, the update was mean't to fix this issue so i ashumed he only updated to 5.0 not 5.1, ill look into it, apologies

Did you purchase much from the eshop? Would be sods law if a potential hack was only accessible from purchasing software on the eshop, there is a major update planned in a few months anyway, you could wait it out.

CHeck your parental settings, you may have blocked it or your parents did.

haha good one sadly the only thing I did prior to that was actually REALLY activate the parental settings in order to prevent myself from updating my 3DS anymore...

However I turned them off now and it didn't help.



So my current chances are:

1) wait for a new firmware update


2) contact Nintendo ???

3) wait for the 3DS Scene to finally make an appearance so I can downgrade

Funny thing is: I can access the settings and the update dialoge inside the firmware, yet the E-shop seems to be off limits for me for now... too bad micro assault looked intriguing.

Contact nintendo, could be a long wait if you want something badly on the eShop.
