In the minecraft login screen, go to options and click to force an update, that'll make sure you're on the latest unmodded version. If it still does this, see if you can log into any different servers.

The only thing i have installed is mc patcher. But i will try it out anyway. And before updating i will also try to join a differant server

I found out something. When i couldn't log in my brother was on the server. When he left the server i could enter it. Is there a way we can both enter at the same time?

Do you 2 share the same account? If so, then there's no way to join a server with the same username twice.

If he hasn't then he wouldn't be able to join the server unless the server was in offline-mode and wasn't checking account status...

Are you guys both connected to the same router by LAN? I am definitely no authority on the subject, but whenever I visit my brother, this is how we connect to the internet, and we occasionally had problems like this when we tried to play online games together. We ended up having to use Hamachi and things like that when no solution was ever found. From what I remember from my GoogleResearch-Fu, the issue was said to be something about trying to have two different computers connect and transfer information from the same exact (insert jargon thingy here), and so nothing really was "connecting" because we were both using the same whatever-thing.

Ahh, it sounds like your trying to visit a cracked server, I have no experience in the matter but the client they use for those might be rejecting you.
