There can always be some creative use for this kind of technology. It could be used for some mini-games where some buttons appear and you have to press them all before they dissapear, but more buttons can appear while you're doing that... Kind of a Whac-a-mole. Other than that, make some buttons with text or drawings on them and you have to press them at some order. It's nothing that a regular touch screen can't already make, but I wonder if the experience would be better in a tactile screen.
If this technology becomes very precise, it could be used in smartphones for blind people, since the screen could contain information in braille.
But since it's a new and expensive technology, it is unlikely that it will make it to a next-gen handheld, even if we suppose this technology will become popular (Let's face it, not every new technologic invention becomes widely adopted)
