This is a poll to see how many of you emulate games on your DS.
If you do post what games you like/what emulator you use.

Occasionally. I used to use SnemulDS quite a lot a few years ago, played Pokemon Crystal on Lameboy not that long ago and now I have a DSTWO but I haven't used that for emulation much.

NES emulator I used a few times on the DS.
SNES and GBA on the DSTwo but I also got an EZ-4 and a SCSD and a M3 CF and M3 SD so I don't need no GBA emulation ;p

I recently played ninja gaiden in nitrograx, phantasy star in sd8 and double dragon in nesds, and some metal slug in the neo geo emulator, so sometimes i spend more time in emulators than normal nds games in mi dsixl.

I love to play Pokémon games on my DS, ranging from the old Red and Blue to the recent(ish) HeartGold, as well as Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Link's Awakening, A Link to the Past and a few other Zelda games. I use nesDS for NES, Lameboy for GB(C), CATSFC for SNES and NDSGBA for GBA. The latter two are DSTwo-specific emulators.

I would LOVE to play all those games. But i don't believe in playing rom's that you dont own, so i would have to buy them all first.

No because I simply don't bother anymore. I use my (3)DS for DS games (and 3DS games). I have a perfectly capable DSTWO, but there are so few DSTWO specific emulators, and even considering that, my phone and my tablet are much more powerful devices than my DS (Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Asus Nexus 7).

Not to mention I can emulate it on my computer, display it on my TV, sync up my wireless Xbox 360 controller and just play it from my bed, which is how >3/4 of the games that I have to be emulated are supposed to be played (on a TV).

Yeah, i can understand that. But on the other hand you can expand the use of your DS.

I LOVE emulation on the DSi. It is amazing what all can be pulled off with such limited hardware! It's just a shame that more people do not code for the Super DsTwo
Yeah, i need the DSTwo. I will get it eventually. (To replace my R4 SDHC Upgrade (Clone) )

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
