Hacking vWii Stack Dumps and crashing

Hello,

I have just installed HBC using the Smash Brother method and this has gone fine, I have then tried to install cIOS 236 v6 for vWii and it seems to get most of the way through and then the Wii U just crashes out. I have also tried to backup my keys using xyyzzz as suggested and that also crashes out both times are with a core dump for some reason.

I have had a search around but can't seem to find anybody with this problem so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have enclosed a picture of the stack dump in case anybody can make any sense of it.

Hm, something similar happened to me. If you have your hard drive plugged in, try unplugging that first. That was giving me the black screen, not a crash dump though.

I have got nothing plugged in to it yet, just the SD card!

Fixed it!! bloody SD card was the issue. For some reason it didn't like my SD card and it was flakey as anything, at some points it would work fine and I eventually managed to dump my keys then the same app would crash for no reason.

Replaced my old 512Mb SD with a 2Gb SD (originally using the Brawl stack crash method so no SDHC) and managed to get my keys and update cIOS 236!

Posted in another thread but still no response so I thought I would try in here. Just got my hard drive cage back to make a usb one and everything but all I have is a sdhc card. Am I right in thinking I need to go and buy a regular SD card and not a sdhc to mod since letterbomb doesn't work?

Yes. SDHC will not work.
