Can you tell us how you save the files? Make sure there is nothing wrong on your memory card. You can load the save files correctly. At the same time, Another World had got our sample now. You can PM him for more helps if possible. Thanks.

as long as you dump the save file to the micro sd then the software will load saves automatically. there are two ways to do this. the brightness button + start will dump a save. saves will also be dumped when you enter the in-game menu. however, 32mb roms can not access the menu so you'll need to use the first option.

Hello.
I use the the brightness button + start to dump a save. When i use all extensions i see there is a .sav file there. But when i load the game it still doesnt load the savegame.
Or do i need to do something special to load the save game. Tried it with Wings and thats not a 32mb game.

0891 - Wings (U)(Rapid Fire).gba [49041BC8]

i am unsure how this game records progress. i did both *+START and *+L. returned to file list and reloaded the file 3 times. each time my save is there. my old profiles, after i died, are no longer in the pilots list. i don't know if they should be there or not.

I had contacted the manufacture for this issue. To make sure that the .sav files kept correctly. We suggest you make sure the battery power is enough when you play games- low power status may effect the system to keep the .sav files. Another thing is to use a good memory card- Class 10 memory card in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB are the best one. Bad quality card may be good for kept the .sav files.

I use the card provided with the revo, dont know what class it is.
I have tried several games now, and not a single game continues from were i left of automaticly.
Even though i can see that a savegame has been created. I should think that the memorycard provided should be sufficiant to do basic operations like load/save.

please reformat the msd card using the panasonic formatter.

after that verify 1 of your ROMs by CRC agains ta known goodset listing, such as advanscene.
if the rom is clean, good, and unpatched, put it on the msd and give it a play. after you save make sure you press *+START to dump the virtual sram to the msd card. power off the unit, turn it back on, and load the game. is your save file working correctly?

I reformated the card with the panasonic formatter.
I copied Super_Mario_Advance with crc 1E4C6D6A (checked with advance scene.
I charged the battery to 100%
I started the game.
Pressed *+start to save.
Checked the filelisting to make sure a save had been created.
Turned off the handheld.
Started it and loaded super mario advance
And kaboom, still only straight into the starting screen.
I use a 16gb card and the included 4gb card, same result. I dont understand.

My friend, can you tell me is this problem happen for all games you played? I mean if you can save the files while gaming? Or it is just happened on this game- Super_Mario_Advance?

Hi,
Do you find a solution ?
Because i have exactly the same problem with my savestates, which sometimes are erased.
I have the same problem my saves are erased sometimes.I bought two microsd adata 32 gb class 10 from amazon and the saves sometimes are deleted with no reason.I format the two microsd with panasonic formatter and have the same results as spikespiegel03.I think its a problem on the revo k101.Ruilong if you see this post please tell maxzhou88 to make another firmware update to fix this problem.Thanks for reading me and waiting for the answer.

Edit: if you are telling me to press *+start to move the .sav on the microsd i did already on some games.Sometimes keep the save perfect pressing those buttons but when i power off the revo k101 sometimes i lost the saves :(.I bought two revo k101.

Some news about the saving issue on the revo k101:i use a microsd 2 gb class 2 on the revo and my saves doesnt delete anymore even if i have a less power on the revo.So if you experience the save issue on the revo i suggest to put a 2 gb microsd class 2.

I apologize for this.

I had submitted this problem to our manufacture. I will get back here to offer you the solution once they call back. At the same time, I will invite Maxzhou88 to follow this thread if he got times. We will try our best to help you solve this problem.

Wish you guys have a Merry Christmas Day!

I just called Maxzhou88 for the issue of saving game files. Here are something that may be useful for you to save the games:

1. The right sav files should be 136K files. You see these files meaning you save the games right. Make sure your device is in enough power status when you save the game files.( sav file=0 meaning there is no enough power for your device to save the games. Some T-cards are running in a bigger power support, which will effect the sav files created.

2. For K101, there are three ways to dump the sav files to the TF card:

* + L
* + START
Soft Power Off

3. The way K101 saving the game files is to find the enough space on game file's ROM- called Save buffer. After find out this space on the game files, it accords to the Game ID registered in the system kernol - this is the normaly way for K1O1 saving the game files. For every 32MB game file, the system do in this way. ( By the way, please note that the DRAM on K101 is 32MB)

4. For game files in 16MB or less than 16MB, it is more simple. All the memory of the game saving files is in Save Buffer. Then they are dump to the TF card after you using the hotkey.

So the problem for saving games is the game file you use. To let us find a good way, we need you guys to tell us which game you can not save. Just tell us the name of the game so that we can find the way for you here.

By the way, I am not very good at technical. I just translate Maxzhou88's words. If you can understand me, can you help me make this clearly, Another World?

i was playing zelda the minish cap. worked great for a few days. then i turned off the system, turned it on a few hours later, and my save progress was gone. i always use the function shortcut keys to dump my virtual sram to the msd card. except when this happened. that time i just held down the power button to shut off the revo. i had not made any progress so i did not need to save. if this is the issue then this would mean that powering down the unit corrupts saves in some way.

I think problem concerned many games, F-Zero, Zelda Link to The Past, Mario Kart Super Circuit...
No matter if battery is charged or not, the problem happened aslo when battery is fully charged.
No matter, what solution i use for saving state:
* + L
* + START
Soft Power Off
Problem is the same, sometimes (randomly) saves are erased. (file is 0ko).
