there's no point because the game is good enough to buy standalone or to continue from 999. the reason why europe probably got it was rising star games who published the game there doesn't know if the game will sell well so having a demo out for people to try out may change peoples mind to buy it..or not.

Demo != full game on eShop.

His post (not the OP) makes it sound like he is saying Europe needs a demo because the original game was never released here. If he meant something else, I misunderstood.
it sounds to me like he's saying the existence of an eShop demo means the full game will be available on the eShop, and that's just not true. lol

Europe already has the full game up for download on the E-shop. Maybe the US E-shop will have it soon.
Perhaps. I'm not denying that it will happen. I'm just saying that his statement of "an eShop demo means the full game will be available on the eShop" is completely baseless, especially when you still have games like Resident Evil: Revelations and Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater still not available as digital downloads, even though they were (and still are) among the first games to get eShop demos, at least in the US.

those are from before games were available digitally though.

and guys, for what it's worth, the game is available on our Aussie eShop now (for $70) and there's a demo.
I played it and don't care for the game, very frustrating to play, it's like sudoku but with slow menus and annoying text.

This is wrong on so many levels.
A. It's not like Sudoku. At all.
B. The text is the ENTIRE POINT of the game. It's a visual NOVEL for a reason.
C. Slow menu's? Eh? I played the demo and don't remember anything of the sort...

The demo was on easy mode. Probably best if you give it a miss.

I hope they do put it on the US eShop because by the time i have the money for it i don't think there will be any physical copies up for grabs.
i hate looking for jobs, currently I'm paying off my rent with handy work on my land lords properties and selling stuff off i find around of value.

lol at the person saying the game is slow and full of text. what'd you expect from a visual novel ie. reading?
