the Transfer tool will be able to scan and detect and has to be on the Wifi

so you will most likely get caught and it wont transfer if it detects anything untowards on your Wii
it will most likely do a complete scan and check whats installed before it does anything

so no hacked Wii Content will ever be Transferable to WiiU

I'd like to be able to transfer everything over, but I'm definitely willing to wait and see what results others get first. If it just ignores the Homebrew stuff and goes along it's merry way, great, but my guess is that if it sees anything, it won't work. Which sucks, but that's the risk you run.

Look, its clear everyone's concerned bout transferring their hacked WAD vcs and save games for imports, this could go a few ways

1. The Wii U copies everything, including hacks/import saves

2. The Wii U only copies legitimate stuff from your region

3. It notices "Illegal modifications" and does nothing

4. It notices "Illegal modifications" and bricks/removes everything!

We just have to wait for someone to volunteer to be a guinea pig

It's not that big of a deal, since you can just do a Nand Backup before and restore it, if the results appear unpleasant.
If they're really mean about it they'll just make it it look for the HBC and remove boot2 if they find it. That's an instant brick right there. BootMii can't save you if BootMii's gone.

I doubt they'll go that far, though.
Of EnigmaXtreme's options, I don't think it'd get worse than #3 but #2 is probably closer. It might not pay that much attention to saves, though. If we're lucky, you might be able to slip some saves for Wii disk based exploits over from SD onto NAND before the transfer with hopes of having them end up on your Wii U.

knowing nintendo it will be able to tell what is official and what is not and will leave what is not behind. it will most likely leave any wad installs, hbc, unofficial channels and anything else that was not installed from the shop chan.

or some error will popup saying delete dat sheit!

pretty much if you want the transfer to work you will need to delete everything unauthorized or risk being detected and banned on on your wiiu from the nintendo network :P

I see plenty of tutorials on how to put Homebrew on your Wii, but not many on how to remove it. Where can I go to find more information on removing things like Priiloader, Forwarder Channels, cIOS, DIOS MIOS Lite?

Obviously, I'm not going to attempt the transfer until I'm pretty damn confident that nothing crazy is going to happen. If I have to unhack my Wii, and then rehack it after the transfer, thats fine, I just am having difficulty figuring out the best approach to do so.

All their transfer tool will probably do is copy all savefiles and download the wiishop licence and then on the WiiU redownload all titles.

Nothing else makes any sense really ...

I see lawsuits happening if that goes down lol

I'm sure Nintendo learned from their past mistakes, but then again, hackers always find a way.

i was thinking about that the other day, the wii u has a wii mode, i wonder if everything that works on the wii would work on the wii mode too on the wii u, only problem is that if the wii u has the same auto update feature like the 3ds then there really is no point to hacking the wii side of the wii u, but then again this could be more convenience to me because i wouldn't have to get my old wii out to play my games apart from to play gamecube games that is.

I guess you are right but on the other hand, i think it would be possible to mod the Transfer App to ignore HBC or other modifications (if needed).
But the most interesting topic for me is, will the HBC work inside that WiiU Emu/Sandbox thingy? Just 3 more Days...

As I said before all it will do is transfer your wiishop account and your savefiles!

But on another note it seems they didn't update the Wii system menu for the WiiMode at all ...

The cleanest way IMHO, is Wii U comparing the transfered titles against your Wii shop account. What I fear is it detects a game that's in not in your shop account it will cancel the whole process, since you can't transfer titles and saves individually, you transfer all your stuff at once.
