Sweet news for anyone getting the Ouya. It will be getting the latest Android update, Jelly Bean. While you could probably flash it yourself, they saved you the trouble. Keep an eye out for it because it is coming out soon.

Lol what 4.2 comes out in like a week on the nexus 4, unless you're taking about Ouya which still makes no sense.
I'd imagine he was talking about the Ouya coming a lot later than the Android 4.2 release.. Thus not using the latest by launch date would be very odd, since the 4.2 update would be months old already by then.

ps. Isn't the new Nexus line launch 13.11. (or 11/13 for you US people)?

That's what I meant, and yes, the new Nexus devices are coming out on the 13th. Android source usually comes out around the time of the first product that uses it.

i dunno where i read or seen it but the ouya will be released in usa only than IF it gets popular enough it will be released elsewhere
 
Last time I checked Ouya is being released globally on the same day with non US residents having to pay an extra 10 dollars for their system.
