Many people think that new pokemon games could now appear in the 3DS.
Well, Pokedex 3D Pro and mystery dungeon is gonna release.

We might think pokemon b/w 2 is the last pokemon game for the 3ds.
It could be true. Take a look at IGN'S Article about this: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/10/20/pokemon-making-the-jump-to-3ds

Please tell me what you think.

I also have the feeling that BW2 will be the last of the DS Pokemon games. I think they would have made it for the 3DS but since it is a continuation, it would have pissed a lot of people off. As mentioned, any newer Pokemon games would and should be for the 3DS. Even if it means I won't be able to pirate it anymore (at least at this point in time). That would only be logical as I believe continuing to release Pokemon games for the DS rather than the 3DS will hurt the 3DS (even without the piracy problem).

Plus, with all the extras that the 3DS has, I would definitely love to see how much more they can do with them games :D

*crosses fingers for awesome RSEmakes*

I have no idea why people still don't think this is a given. I'm pretty surprised that they still haven't released a main Pokemon game on 3DS yet.

I think the only reason B/W2 were released on the DS, was to take advantage of people who don't yet have a 3DS. Anything past this point, I'm sure will be released on the 3DS.
That's what they said, but I don't buy it. Releasing a Pokémon game for the 3DS would have sold more 3DS consoles, it would have been a good strategical move for Nintendo. However, to meet consumer expectations on the 3DS, it would have required a complete overhaul, requiring much more development time and costs. Releasing it for the DS meant they could reuse everything from B/W.

My guess is that there's already a Pokémon 3DS game in development, B/W2 was just milking the cow in the meantime.

^@[member='McHaggis']: True that. I guess they would have to revamp quite a few things if they were to make it for the 3DS cos otherwise people would be like "WTF why didnt they just release this on the DS?"

Oh and as I pointed out, pretty sure people will be raging soooooooo hard if they did. I honestly liked how they kept it on the DS cos otherwise I would have to get the 3DS now. Still waiting for a nice bundle/ limited edition colour scheme that does not remind you of children's undies. The Pikachu one is just meh esp with the camera lens placement :\

Edit: Fixed typo

I'm kinda sad about them ditching the sprites for Mystery Dungeon, I liked the old look better. I suppose it wouldn't have worked well with the 3D effect, but still...

Very true.
Nintendo has awesome tactics in business.

^This. I loved the sprites.
I'd be fine with graphics like these for something more action-oriented like Pokemon Ranger, but Mystery Dungeon is turn-based, it doesn't need any fancy 3D models that look worse than sprites :(

Time will tell...

I hope there will be a game for the 3DS like B/W 2.
Maybe like awesome 3D effects like GTA

I think you're expecting too much from Ninty.
Nintendo is pretty conservative with Pokémon graphics.

Probably not Ninty or the fans would like such brutal graphical difference,
although I think both of us would like that.

I always wondered if Pokémon graphics could be adapted to look like the recent Dragon Quest Monsters series.
