Hardware 3DS demos NOT downloading

Hello, haven't been here in a while...

The Internet connection on the 3DS works - I can download a demo while NOT in a sleep mode, however if I choose to "download later" at eShop, and the icon appears at the Home Menu - the demo is just not downloading, no matter how long I wait (or at least it says "0% downloaded" for an hour now). What am I doing wrong? I've tried putting it in Sleep Mode by 2 ways:

1. Just closing the lid while on the Home Screen (with the demo icon).
2. Pushing Power button and then closing the lid.

Am I missing anything? Just got the system. Thanks.

When I just close the lid it won't download anything for me either, but the second method always worked for me.

Yes, it does. (funnily enough, it doesn't provide you with a progress bar, Nintendo is so stupid)

Close the eShop, then put it on sleep.

it maybe a little slow with download latter


just but the 3ds it in sleep and charging for a bit (like 30min-1h) and see if anything happens

also make sure you in the 3ds home menu and all other apps are closed

One question: does 3DS download all the stuff (demos in your queue) at once (doubt it) or separately?

Just tested the sleep mode download, works fine for me. It might be because your 3DS cant connect when its in sleep mode, try switching the wireless on and off and see if it intiates the download again

Maybe it's not getting the signal. Try putting it in sleep mode and place it right next to the Wifi router

There's a little box that has paint or something dumped in it. That's the progress bar.
