what are you doing
I do this, probably because i'm too lazy to buy paper plates. I also reuse the opposite side of the plastic wrap depending on how clean it is
.

Take all of the dishes.
Have dog (doesn't have to be your own) lick them over until nothing is noticeably on the dish.
If the dog didn't clean them well enough, throw them in the toilet and flush for added effect.
Wait to dry.
Spray them once over with Febreze for freshness.

Enjoy your now clean and fresh plates.

Wouldn't that then be placing the "dirty" side down, touching the plate and getting it dirty anyhow?
If it's really THAT clean, you might as well just leave it on the plate and reuse the same side.
