So I just got an Supercard DSTwo for my 3DSXL and I was copying backups to it and so on.. all worked fine cool!

Then I switched back to pc again and decided to copy more. It didn't work out because the backups were not complete on that harddrive so I removed it again.

Later I wanted to try again, but now my mini sdhc card in the usb adapter isn't recognisesd anymore.. The USB thingy is.. but each time I try to acces it in windows it says plz insert drive.. WTF???

I tried the mini card into the Supercard DSTWo and it's working fine.. WTF is going on this is making me crazy EVERYTHING is going wrong today on the computer, I MEAN EVERYTHING not just this.

Also I notice the led on the USB thingy isn't burning :S

you mean a fake mini sd card or adapter? Because the mini sd seems fine ( hence it works on the 3ds fine).

I got a high quality Samsung 32 GB

and mini adapter is from the Super card DStwo package..

Are you sure it's dead How the fack can it be dead it's just new..?

The micro SD ADAPTER, isn't even being properly installed I think, because it doesn't get that popup of new usb device added/installed etc. which u always get when putting it in.

This is with or WITHOUT any mini sd card!!! Meaning to me, that the USB adapter thingy is more likely troubled???

You mean Micro sd adapter or the micro SD itself?

Because see last post. And I dont get how they can say it's broken when the mini sd is playing games on my 3ds..

simple think, just buy and use a microsd card reader/writer, don't use a microsd adapter, coz microsd adapter always like that, easy to broken..
cheers...:)

Just bought a new usb card reader from the shop around the corner for 6 euro seems I was right, the micro SD is fine. Though it is corrupted, I run chkdsk /r on it and it asks me 3 times unrecoverable error in folder *....* convert file to folder? So I type yes. It said percent completed... 1, 2,3 % and so on.. then at 12% I alt tabbed I checked again and saw it completed/cancelled whatever.. because it said C:\Users\*Username* ... like it was done.. Except it says 12% on screen as last bit of info. Also I still have folders with strange symbols which I cant remove

The chkdsk has made my problem even bigger.. now more files are symbols, and it keeps saying invalid name this and that truncated... Im afraid as it is it won't work on my ds even..

CHKDSK just won't finish and doesn't fix it :(

I've bought a fake SD card from as a$$hole online before. I got a refund though. If you buy products like this online, its usually important to type the person's ebay username to see what kind of reputation they have.

If you are having problems with chkdsk then I recommend formatting the card. If that doesn't work then I recommend using the gparted disk:(gnome partition editor) to repartition the card.

I just tried formatting it, quick and non quick. It says it cannot be formatted. invalid media or track 0 bad - disk unusable

And now the drive is inaccesible .. SHIT . Ok I will try this gparted disk u talk about ( dont know what is though will research it)

If files are appearing as symbols, you probably got a bullshit card. one that says it has more memory than it actually does. That happened to me with a 32GB SDHC card I bought online. It claimed to be 32gb, but in reality it was about 500MB. (though in the computer it will believe its 32GB, but you simply can't load that much data on). Sounds like you got a fake too. Sorry man.

I find this highly unlikely it's a shop with 20 year experience so they say and have overly positive reviews on our national technical website. Some are regarding SD cards.

Also it has official samsung packaging.. Doesn't seem fake to me.
