Why don't you use the .nmp patch if you can't get XDelta to work, btw? NSMB Editor works on Win7 too.
If neither XDelta nor NSMBe work for you, you have a problem.
Install .NET runtime and try again.
I downloaded it and it did't work so I'm just asking for u to download NSMB 5 and patch it into a .ups file which I know it works because I tried:

If you can manage to use ups patches then why can't you manage to use an xdelta patch? Because it clearly works, like everyone's already said.
You might've been using the wrong version of xdelta, however. xDelta GUI and DeltaPatcher (
http://www.romhackin.../utilities/704/) use different versions of xdelta and are not backwards/forwards compatible. Try both and if it still doesn't work, you're doing it wrong.
