I have googled, searched for hours upon hours. Have gained some info but not totally what Im looking for.

For example I find a dutch site which sells 3ds cards: (im dutch)
http://www.wasabidxbenelux.nl/categorie/781/dsi_flashcard/

But they don't state anything about GB or GBC games.. and GBA is a bit vague.. I just now read about slot 1 and slot 2 and GBA not working without cardrigdges (meaning roms won't work) Then I read Supercard can play GBA games but is crappy at doing so.. but I dont understand the slot 1 and slot 2 thing..

Could someone who speaks from their experience what the most complete Nintendo 3DS solution would be to play the MOST games possible (pokemon, dbz games most imortant). That includes ALL gameboys. Gameboy normal, pocket, color , advanced, all NDS versions, and 3DS. (well I know no cards can play 3ds roms now.) Snes, nes etc would also be welcome but not 100% needed. Realtime save and fast forward/slomo would be nice aswell.

Manyyyyyy thanks to the one who can assist me. Im getting crazy with all the million different Cards, and Lacking of info what they can do.. I find hundreds of different cards, but they don't mention GBC or GB or explain GBA ..

Gameboy and GBC can be emulated well with Lameboy on any flashcart.
GBA games can only be run at a decent speed with sound on the Supercard DS2. So get that.

All you need to know is the DSTwo is the only flashcard that's the best at playing GBA ROMs right now. GB/GBC games also work just fine as well, look for lameboy in filetrip.net for a download.
>the only >superlative (best)

I'm confused, are normal cards capable of playing GBA games, just really poorly?

There are, check the Homebrew Bounty section. There's a GBA emulator there for DS Flashcards, but most (or all maybe?) don't run at full/playable speed.

Yeah, there's inchify's GBA Emulator, for various cards, and I think the iSmart can emulate GBA too?

I see thanks that clears things up.. So lameboy is the ONLY known solution for GB and GBC?

Ok so I need Supercard DS2 which is slot 2 I think??? And it also plays DS roms?

I read that slot 2 cards sometime have trouble with DS games/emulation or whatever. And that you might need 2 cards. 1 for DS 1 for GBA...

Also you need mini SD cards to store your games on right.. are some flashcards limited to certain brands of mini sd cards ? or will any work? any speed requirments class needed??

EDIT:
http://eng.supercard.sc/products.htm

It says Supercard 2 is slot 1... I thought all gba solutions were slot 2? or else it wouldnt work I read?

The Supercard DSTwo is a slot one flashcard with a CPU in the card that allows GBA/SNES emulation.

Ok so I dont need to worry about faulty gba, nds emulation about that one. It emulates ALL DS types?

I just found this youtube video. 1 year old comment but still.. it leads me to believe there is some additional things I should look at like Dsi mode? (i think there were like 4 or 5 different ds versions lol..) Does dsi mode work with supercard ds 2? I want to be able to play all games. Also in the video I hear him mention Pokemon does still not run.. ( maybe it does now 2 year old video?)

which flash card is the best

It's not a simple answer, they all have their ups and downs. The Supercard DS TWO is one of the best ones for sure, but it is competing with AceKard (great in terms of value), iSmart MM (similar feature set) and very soon it'll be up against the CycloDS Evolution which claims to have the DSi mode cracked.

Let me clear things up for you.

1. Youtube is usually wrong.
2. DSi mode only worked on 1 flashcard, but the support has been dropped over a year ago.
3. The DSTwo is a slot-1 flashcard that plays ALL DS ROMs. This includes DSi ROMs, but they play in DS MODE ONLY (so no camera, no WPA2 Wifi support, no extra processing speed). This only hinders like...a few DSi only titles but that shouldn't be a problem for what you want to play.
4. The DSTwo's GBA emulation is ok, it's not great like PC emulation but it works.
5. AFAIK GB/GBC emulation is pretty great, almost no problems.
6. The DSTwo is unrivaled in terms of flashcards, as it's the only one with an extra CPU in it that allows GBA/SNES Emulation. The rest of the cards don't have this, which is why GBA emulation only works well on this card.

Ok you convinced me :) I will take this card then when I get my 3DS XL soon.

Also it can't emulate link cable with pokemon probably because the hardware for it is missing? :( sad.

Now to decide which SD cards I use...

On the database pricewatch website i use I see cheapest is 15 euro for 32 GB class 4 speed. http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/262997/transcend-sdhc-32gb-class-4.html
The cheapest fast class is 25.50 euro class 10 http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/295738/samsung-sdhc-32gb-class-10.html

Does it matter ? or just go with cheapest. I may have to get mutiple because I have a lot of games.

Go with a class-4 or class-6, but go for a retail sale, and go for a good manufacturer. Don't get stuff from ebay or amazon private sellers, and go for something good like Sandisk, A-Data, Transcend, or PNY.

EDIT: Also, you need a MicroSD, not a normal SD. The MicroSD goes into the flash cart (the DSTwo).

The 3DS's flash cart slot cannot be used for hacking or ROMs or anything like that.

On the subject of Transflash, I use a Class 10 16GB AmazonBasics MicroSD card and it works great. It's not really class 10 but is closer to Class 8 from what I have read. I recommend getting the fastest reading card you can find, especially for GBA games where access speed is key.

I see.. on the website I use for pricecheck it has 3 categories in micro SD

http://tweakers.net/...S6YZEVI2CPuf8AQ

Secure Digital Micro
Secure Digital Micro eXtended Capacity
Secure Digital Micro High Capacity

I assume all work with the Super flash card.

Do I need a special adapter or pc hardware to put my games on?

Also I see prices are a bit different with microsd's.. you say get fastest as possible but is it bad to get a class 4 card?

Is there a minimum read/write speed I need to keep in mind? Sorry I ask so much I just dont want any suprises.

For example I see a class 6 which has higher speed then a class 10 or whatever.. it doesnt make any sense..

The first category is for cards 2GB and under. They will work with the DSTwo, but they're likely not what you want.
The second category is for cards above 32GB. These may or may not work, officially no support is given, I wouldn't suggest it.
The third category is for cards from 2GB to 32GB, this is what you want.

You will need some way of connecting the MicroSD card to your PC to put files on, yes.

Read "Q - What brand, size and class of SD card should I get for my flashcart?".

A class-6 is a lower guaranteed write speed than class-10, but in reality the class-10 may be barely cutting 10, while the class-6 might be fantastic and actually get 11 or 12.

But it's the read speed that matters most for flash carts... but in general don't buy shit and you'll be fine.

Ok thanks so I get a 32 GB micro sd. I shouldnt look at class but at readspead. (dunno what I need min 15 MB/sec 20 ? 30?)

I think the Supercard comes with a micro SD usb connecter so u can put files on it? I think.

http://www.r4-r4i.nl/index.php?route=information/contact

This site offers it for only 26 euro compared to many sites offering for 40 euro.

But since there are fakes... how to trust...?

Read speed isn't given in most cases because it's not a concern for most uses of the card. Flash carts are one of the few times where read speeds matter, for the majority of uses of a MicroSD the read speed isn't a primary concern so it's not listed.

Yes you can use the adapter, but adapters that come with flash carts tend to be cheap stuff and I don't recommend them.

That site looks to be carrying the real DSTwo. We have not seen a fake. It's the "R4" carts you need to watch out for fakes with.

So in other words it doesn't really matter all cards should suffice. Then if u were me and on tight budget. Which 32 GB card would you pick? Just cheapest one? And would you order supercard dstwo from that site...? It doesn't really look that professional to me.. but good price. Again many thanks.
