Hi, just bought a nintendo 3ds XL and when i plug it with the charger cable, it does not charge... sometimes the charging LED lights up for only a few milliseconds... any idea what could be the problem?? thx in advance

Check if the battery is fully charged.

If its not, it COULD be a charger or a connector issue.

If charger, you can just replace it.
If connector, you're out of luck if you're not accessible to Nintendo. My old 3DS had a connector issue and thank god I sold that shit.

it's not fully charged.. it has only 1 bar battery left... i hope it's a charger issue... will order one on ebay

Clean the connector, the plug with a high-volume spirit that does not leave residue. Use q-tips. If that does not help, *gently* bend the cable at the base of the plug to check if it's not broken - that's the most common spot where cables break. It'd also be useful to check whether there's any current at all going through the charger - you can use a tool or... well, you're tongue - it's only a few volts, it'll barely sting. If the charger is dead, it's dead and it needs to be replaced. If you still have warranty on the system, return it.
