R.I.P. Great Legend :(

This guy was a legend and his contribution to mankind will be very hard to match. I'm not usually one for sympathising with celebrities when they die (Amy (druggie) Winehouse for example) but I do feel for this guys family

I'm one of the oldest 'Tempers' there is so here's a neat little thing that being old gets me - I watched that 1st moon landing happen, live.

I was only 2 years old though so I don't remember it. :ha: But my parents told me that made me sit in front of the TV and watch it.

So am I right in thinking that his footsteps will be there forever?

Unless something displaces them, yes. There's no wind to displace the dust or whatever that magic moon dust is called. I'm guessing it's called magic moon dust.

EDIT: And a lot of sci-fi or space greats had their ashes scattered across space. I hope they do the same for him. Or at least send his body into race so an alien race may discover him and revive them with their advanced alien technology. Then when they deliver him to us, we can have Neil Armstrong: Immortal Interplanetary Peace Ambassador.

I wonder if young people today even know who he is.
Yeah, dude, he's that cycling guy that got banned the other day...

Gene Roddenberry, Majel Roddenberry (planned) and James Doohan, to name a few.

That would be nice though; it certainly wouldn't surprise me.
