Another tidbit of information about the handset that we managed to get our hands on is that the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE will come with an unlockable bootloader, a feature that Motorola plans to include in its future offerings.

My dad has the Motorola Photon right now and I must say it is quite the phone. Would love to see how this one performs.

Bite the bullet and ditch the keyboard. I did, and I haven't looked back.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is going to trounce this. It's thinner, bigger, and has better battery life.

Yeah. While the SGS3 is a phenomenal phone with an insane battery life, Samsung can only do better next year.

Let's hope that the Apple lawsuit doesn't hurt them too much.

Is it me, or do carriers hate selling unlocked bootloader phones? (Anything developer edition doesn't count)

After using Swype, I have no intention on swapping back to a button keyboard. If my next phone has a slide-out, it had better be game controls a la Xperia Play.

Try using SwiftkeyX. It may change your mind. It changed mine!
