Sony has two three PS Vita bundles coming out in the next couple weeks:

A Madden NFL 13 bundle:

  • PS Vita Wi-fi (Black)
  • Madden NFL 13 game
  • $249 MSRP ($40 savings)
Release: August 28th

that White Assassin's Creed III Liberation bundle we saw at E3, with updated pricing:

  • White PS Vita Wi-fi
  • Assassin's Creed III Liberation game
  • 4GB Memory card
  • MSRP: $249 ($59 savings)
Release: October 30 (31st in Canada)

and a Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified bundle:

  • Black PS Vita Wi-fi
  • Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified game (download voucher)
  • 4GB Memory card
  • MSRP: $249 ($69 savings)
Release: December 31st (tentative)

Interesting to note that Sony seems to have removed the 4GB memory card we were promised when the bundle was announced at E3. The memory card is no longer mentioned at Sony's website or on many retailers. Bastards... Nope, it's back now.

So if you're thinking of picking up a Vita, you may want to wait a bit for either of these bundles. I know I have my eye on that smexy white/silver Vita. Hopefully retailers will bundle a memory card in to make up for Sony's blunder? One can only hope.

You can order/pre-order these bundles now on Amazon.com

EDIT: updated ACIII:L bundle, added BLOPSD bundle

I'm holding off on buying a Vita because of the memory cards are out the ass expensive. It makes the total cost just too much. I'll wait for a price cut

Still too expensive
For that tech I'd say it was good value.

if it had internal storage? Yea..

As it is like that? I'll pay at most $200

You can buy a refurb one from Gamestop for $199, and since games are $40 each, think of these bundles then as paying $10 extra for a brand-new Vita.

I'm just pissed that Sony decided to magically "drop" the 4GB memory card that was mentioned in the White AC Vita bundle at E3.

Aw. Too bad the NFL bundle Vita isn't blue like the PSP-2000 bundle of yesteryear. I would have happily bought it and threw the game on eBay for a blue Vita.
I was just about to mention that with all the sports games I see in thrift stores and used game stores, Madden seems like a bad choice for a bundle, but I now see that in reality, the Vita is the added incentive, not the other way around.

Shit bro that White Vita is sexy.
I wish I could get one of those.
White is the new black. :P

So no memory card? Oh well. I'll buy the Madden bundle and trade the game in at Gamestop for a refeb memory card.
So do the bundles stay?

Doesn't look like it.
I've always wondered if you can trade in games from bundles. Usually they have the upn's cut out from the back of the packaging or are replaced with a "Not For Resale" label. At least in all the bundles I've gotten from Sony. I've meant that to say that you're not supposed to sell them/trade them due to no barcode.
I guess it depends if these games are just retail copies or "Not for resale" bundle copies.

So do the bundles stay?
I don't understand

If theyre used then theyve been played.
Madden is a crappy game.
Has been since 08.

But really will anyone trade a black vita for a white vita?

I'd like a metallic pink one... That isn't decorated with flowers or some shit. Just plain metallic Pink! But these bundles are sweet! Too bad they're missing the memory cards, but I guess it's for the best, as it gives you an option to get a bigger or smaller memory depending on your needs, instead of forcing you into a 4 gig one.

Doesn't take away from the fact that there is no internal storage, and that sony still feels that they can charge that high of a price. I don't much care for the hardware inside... if I have to pay extra just to be able to save my damn game? It ain't worth it.

Doesn't take away from the face that there is no internal storage, and that sony still feels that they can charge that high of a price. I don't much care for the hardware inside... if I have to pay extra just to be able to save my damn game? It ain't worth it.
I'm guessing the Gamecube, the PS1, and the PS2 never really grabbed you, with that burning hatred of memory cards you have. Seriously, the memory isn't even that expensive. All because you've been spoiled by rock bottom SD and MicroSD card prices doesn't mean new memory formats launch that cheaply. It's Sony's real way of making money with the Vita, and they were still smart enough to not sell it at too high of a price. I mean, hell, you can pick up an 8GB card off of Amazon for $30. Are you really telling me that's where you draw the line?
