I always just make sure I download a new one each time I test another method or patch. If you just want to test it you could boot the rom you think is clean and if it freezes after Prof. Juniper then its most likely a clean rom.

Hey guys, I just got my 8th badge with no issues using the ap and english patch v1.2, if i upgrade to v1.3 on a clean rom, name the new rom the same thing and put it on my acekard 2i, will it work normally? and access the same sav file? thanks

So I get the C-gear from the blonde girl with glasses who gave me my first pokemon.
Then I try to use it but it freezes the game. Is there a fix for the C-gear because everything else works.

you need to be in "DSL" mode. iEvo can't run this DSi-enhanced game in "DSi" mode.
and you're out of luck if your DSi is on the latest fw, your card won't boot at all.
unless you have a lower fw Dsi or a miracle update from team cyclops.
in short, it only works on DS or DS lite in DSL mode or on DSi with fw 1.4.2 and below.
i have a DSi with fw 1.4.1U, btw.

Yeah, I had to force mine to permantly be in DSI mode because my DSI has the latest update thing, so I cant use DSL mode otherwise I cant use the iEvo on my dsi. Well, that sucks.

works fine and its cheap! if your planning to get that, make sure you get it from reliable seller. (so you don't run into any fakes)
thats the only card i have experience with but im pretty sure the supercard is better?
