Hello, could you please tell me in a PM how you got it to work? I have the same R4 card and I patched with the IPS file but the YSMenu still gives me =-4 error, and the WoodR menu white screens still. I am also not sure how the YS menu patch works? There are 2 .dat files in the folder..what do you do with them? And do you need them at all? Sorry and thank you in advance This is a request for ANYONE who can help please.

you place the .dats in the YSMenu folder
the rom must be clean (patched will result in -4 error)

for it to work on wood
you need wood r4 1.48
the needs to be patched

forgive my further noobishness but how do I upgrade the firmware? I downloaded 1.48 but from there I don't know what to do. Replacing the files caused the R4 to not even load anymore ._.

I have a R4i SDHC 3DS card, I've tried all the patches and non of them worked for me (got the -4 error).. so today I've downloaded the prepatched rom and it worked...
hopefully this helps for some people who have the problem not running the game on R4i..

So, you know, actually playing the game, I gotta say, it's fun for a strategy title (since I generally never enjoy them). I have some minor complaints:
- Holy hell, you really can't grind at all. It's pretty much get better warriors, and forget the old ones/turn them into warrior hunters and gold farmers.

- Besides that, what was with that warning of other kingdoms potentially invading yours? The only time that happened to me, it was actually part of the campaign. Seems like they simply did a fantastic job of leading you on. Or perhaps that's something that comes in later. Regardless, getting a warning for something that doesn't apparently matter is just off.

I was afraid to defeat shingen , then i started training , then ,months later: 3 warriors from him invaded ignis , but i make them run out .

Only played a short bit, but I like it. The concept behind it is cool and FINALLY a Pokemon game where the Pokemon actually do an animation when doing their move eg. Jigglypuff actually slapping the opponent when using doubleslap. Been waiting for that forever.

From what I know, there hasnt been any AP patch out yet. So I am afraid you cant get it to work on the r4i till the AP is cracked.

The game is piracy protected. Meaning the rom wont run on flashcarts unless its cracked or bypassed.

well yeah they are , but i just whent on ahead and downloaded a pre patched rom, problem is no matter how much i try i keep getting the err code -4
