Oh man just seeing how long the Music Hacking section is made my eyes hurt @_@

It's probably the file size, since it is 28KB Holy Crap! lol.
How do you change the channels? (Says maximum of 14 channels allowed)

Well, since you were able to insert it, then it isn't the file size. And don't worry about the section, it is really easy when you do it once. And what do you mean by changing the channels?

Well, since you were able to insert it, then it isn't the file size. And don't worry about the section, it is really easy when you do it once. And what do you mean by changing the channels?
It says you can only have 14 channels on each track in the guide.

I will do everything tomorrow, right now my eyes bleed every time I see that guide (I've worked all day on this stuf lol)

I bet it'll be easy, I mean, everything about Pokemon hacking is easy to me (except music, changing animated sprites to staying still, and misc stuff such as base stats, movesets, etc. haven't gotten to learn those yet) but b4, they would rip my brain off and throw it into a crater @_@ lol

Ok so I am just stuck on the add a 00 byte part near the end.

How do I add a 00 byte lol?
hmm, I was stuck on this aswell, but I tried it without doing that and it still worked perfectly for me.
Edit > Insert Bytes...

Bytecount: 1
Hex-Values: 00

Hmm.....

Some songs I inserted through this method glitched on me.
I might have done it wrong, though. I'll try again.

One thing is for sure though:
This is going to take some patience xD
 
yes more patience then i have at rhe moment,

SUPA!! U didnt mention i had to save as midi in fl studio not export as midi!! I hope this is the problem im haveing cause i made a nice mix of r/b/y battle theme to use for the rival theme

iv also noticed that after i insert the sseq into the sdat with ct2 and check the songs hex in VGMtrans it is all messed up compared to hex before i insert it.

When i get home tonight i will try a couple of more methods.. . . And if all else fails i will try to hex edit the sseq into the sdat.

Iv hexed the sseq into the rom itself but it was very unstable after that lol

No, you must export as MIDI, that is what the Guide says.
