Well assuming that the percentage is stored internally as a 32-bit integer (which I assume it is, as Densetsu is world-renowned for fitting every language ever into every ROM hack he's done and you need a hell of a lot of characters to fit Fartese and Nyanese in the same bank), that's not nearly enough to roll it back to 80%. Given that the highest it needs to be is 100%, I'm assuming a single byte will suffice, but in that case there's the question of if it's signed or not... I mean with unsigned when doing subtraction (for example when beta testers leave so you drop 25% off the mark) you could always just add so it overflows to the right value, but with signed being able to add negative in your input language is easier to deal with mentally so there's the argument for that as well... in either case though in order to rollback to stay 80 you'd need 35 instances, but with 9001 there's a remainder and I'm not su-
