Gaming dsl won't boot

so yeah my friend that has store has a dsl that won't boot even when charged(the charging led works) but it just won't boot
is it the button or a brick
i think he got it from cash converters or something and it never used a flashcart or a flash me/pass me device

it worked when bought and was never used again for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time

i just clearly said in the 1st post
i use the button to open it but absolutely nothing happens, NOTHING, no green led, no screen absolutely nothing

I don't see where its stated clearly in first post nevertheless its nothing just a dead battery .
A blown fuse would flash a red light.

DSLite has a variety of fuses. One for charging (orange led light), one for power (green led light upon turning the power on) and I don't know if there are any others..

I've bridged 2 fuses in the past one because a DSlite wasn't charging but it turned on, and the other DS Lite didn't turn on but battery charging worked.

It happened on my DSI the battery was dead, kaput. Just swap with another ds battery then come back here and say thank you.
