Homebrew Play Psx/Ps1 on DS (Download + Tutorial)

There is a reason why most cutscenes on the DS are filmed in 30 FPS and with horrible quality - the process is slow from FAT, let alone from Wi-Fi.
And Wi-Fi tends to lag a little anyway, since both sides have to synchronize.

I actually tested this this morning with a friend. We both went on Wifi and went into a Phantasy Star Zero level together. We put both DS systems next to each other and tested everything out. One player's movements are actually performed half a second later on everyone else's screens! Or, at least that's what it does for us, through my Wi-Fi connection.

ok... but for the ePSXe thing i think it depends on the people...
i use ePSXe when i have no experienced about emulator and cant get it working (Probably because of the Bios,Plugins, etc) but when i try pSX it worked just downloaded some bios and roms.... the first emulator i tried to work is the P64 thanks to that emulator..

Kudos to you good sir.

Not only does it make the game unplayable from the slowdown, it drives you up the friggin' wall.
Also, it renders the portability of the DS redundant if you have to carry your friggin' laptop around to execute this. And what if I don't have a laptop? Well it looks like I'll have to buy one, when instead I can use the money to buy a PSP and several cases of beers to sooth the shame I had of even considering this in the first place.

OP, you deserve credit for doing the unthinkable. But that's where the credit ends, I'm afraid.

Actually with the $1000 to spend on that laptop just to play PSX games on your DS you can buy a pre-owned PSP with a 32GB memory card for it, a new PS3, a new Xbox 360 and a case of beer.

Thanks for the credit.... i think no one appreciate this thread someone can just closed it if they wanted....

why would someone post some stupedious post to buy a PSP rather than a laptop,i post this to the people who has laptop and PC and to those who wants to try some pSX on their DS (i said to try) ..are they really trying to tell me to buy a PSP? the only answer is No.

can someone stop saying PSP on this thread... this is about PS1 not PSP

If you have a laptop then why bother carrying it around with you just to play PSX games on your DS when it works perfectly on your laptop or another handheld than can play PSX games what was it name I forgot, oh wait its a PSP but to be more accurate a PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000 and the PSP Go.

Everyone doesn't like this thread because of the sheer uselessness of the idea. You are already emulating it on something with a much better chance of working nicely without as much lag and your suggestion is to pipe it through a shitty wifi connection causing incessant lag for an extremely silly reason of "well the DS has buttons and I can carry it". You know what is an AMAZINGLY better idea? With what you are currently doing, you HAVE to lug around your laptop already...so why not just buy a fucking gamepad. Problem solved. It has buttons enough for what you want, you are already content with carrying your laptop everywhere apparently, so that isn't a problem, AND it will have better performance.
