The classic hacks.ini is included in the PoC packed I posted in the first post. (hacks_hash.ini is not supported by this hack)
And yes, for 4.1E, v450 is the version you need to use. I do not know why your sysmenu's version is "v54450"... my guess is that you have a patched sysmenu installed. Open up the hacks.ini in notepad, search for "version=450" (without quotes), and replace all instances notepad finds with "version=54450". That should get it working for you.

Also, updated the pack AGAIN (fixed a silly little display bug in priiloader v0.8b2 MOD inside the hacks menu).

Thanks It worked for wii games but when I run GC backup USB-Loader-CFG-DML_MOD-70r12 runs instead!!!!
Here's my custom hacks.ini for v54449 and 54450: http://www.mediafire.com/?rl7ri9n6lis7h5o
Thanks

Make sure the hack:
[Disc Channel: Wii -> HNCA GC -> HCLA]
is DISABLED.

And make sure the hack:
[Disc Channel -> NeoGamma! (HNCA)]
is ENABLED. (and that you only have ONE of these 4 new Disc Channel Hacks enabled, so just this one)

Thanks worked now.
Great :)

Woooow even multiISO GC games dvd is running fine too

Will this hack still work if the dol in the hidden channels is updated?

Nice!

And yes. All the hack does is boot the channel, then the channel takes over and does the rest of the work. So the dol inside the channel can be changed just fine. (Just unpack the wad, change the dol, and then repack and reinstall)

Also, first post updated (AGAIN.). But not a big change this time, just added another link at the end of the post.

No problem :)

And I am not sure how many people would need that modified hacks.ini though... but anyways, I will put the link in the first post just in case for people who might need it.
EDIT: first post updated for you. Thanks for the modified hacks.ini. :)

Is there any Neogamma dol that doem't check for cheats and loads the disc faster than the one used in this pack (without displaying disc info)?

In the description in first post you say:
"- and a modified priiloader 0.8 beta 2 (this version does seems to run stable under IOS249 unlike v0.7 and lower, allowing for backups to be loaded)"
Given that neogamma is doing all the disc loading now what's the point of running priiloader under ios249? nothing will change and everything will load fine using priiloader 7 under default SysMenu IOS.

SM will reject backups under vanilla IOS. While NeoGamma would load them, SM wouldn't load the banner etc., so it would never get as far as NeoGamma. At least, that is my understanding of it. Not first hand, as I don't use backups.

@djplace the last i checked the DLC started working from SD card in like rev18 of Waninkoko's cIOS. I think it would still work in d2x, but I have not tried it.

I know for sure it worked a while ago, as I was searching furiously for how to get it working and the options were limited (mainly SNEEK which was a bitch to setup). Then Waninkoko released rev18 and to my surprise it started working. I used Rock Band 2 with DLC on SD (not SDHC as it doesn't support it) card loaded from USB (so I assume disc would work fine).

If you use this hack and Neogamma uses IOS 249 to launch the game it should work fine with your DLC at least in Rock Band 2.

Tried with NEEK2O without DI and can play out of region games just fine, with the necessary exclusive Region Free fixed on NEEK2O. Although you cant boot bootlegged games inside NEEK2O.

shoot i'm using an shdc card. for my DLC games... i'm using RB3 GH:WOR and JD2/3 so i'm wondering if there is going be a fix for that... (i doubt it...)

just wanted to ask the reason for not using a forwarder in the hidden channel so updates are easier ?
does it have something to do with the autoboot of neogamma?

Forwarders will require SD cards inserted. The current method will work SD card free.
If you want you can replace the dol in the pack's wads with the forwarder and it'll still run fine.

Just one quick post today before I have to go to sleep:

Yeah. (and the fact that I prefer embedded channels:lol:)
You can quite easily use a forwarder channel if you like, however, like AbdallahTerro said, it would make the hack fully dependant on the .dol present on SD card and SD card inserted at all times in order to actually load the app up. Take out the SD, and AFAIK it will either boot to nothing, or throw and error and return to the System Menu, depending on how the forwarder is coded.

At least with an embedded channel having the dol stored on NAND, the app will still load without the need for an external device. Sure, some of NeoGamma's extra features may require an SD card (loading and saving your game loading config, ocarina, and wip and wdm patches need to be on SD or USB to be able to be used), but at least the core functionality of booting a disc with hardcoded default region free settings (and ability to temporarily changing this default config, just cannot save changes) still works fine without any external devices.

And also @[member='AbdallahTerro'], I have managed to modify NeoGamma further as per your suggestions you posted.

And now I have an updated version to post.
The version in this post now has these modifications:
- Verbose info text no longer appears when in autoboot mode. (Just black screen while it loads up the game)
- Autoboot now works for all connected controllers, not just Wiimote 1.
- Autoboot cancellation now only responds to button B (rather than any button)
- Ocarina is no longer enabled by default. (but double check your settings to make sure Ocarina is switched off there too though)
- "Autocheat" added. Hold button A when autobooting a game to temporarily enable Ocarina cheats for the game you are booting (temporary as in this does not modify your config settings in any way). This saves having Ocarina switched on for all games. Just hold A button only when you really want cheats.

HNCA_MOD_r2.wad

@damysteryman thank you very much for the modification. worked for Wii & GC games with a mild improvment in loading speed.
Just one thing multiISO GC DVD did not show game selection screen (set to "hidden" too I think) so it didn't work :(
This should easily fixed though.
