Disclaimer: I have searched this topic many times with differing results, so if anyone has done this recently, PLEASE let me know how.

I have an iMac and a Macbook Pro (both intel). Both have the ability to run Windows 7 in Boot Camp (The Macbook Pro is currently set up with W7). I'd like to know what the best method is for flashing an Xbox 360 Slim to the current CFW and what items I will need to purchase in order to do this. The Xbox 360 Slim is currently running CFW, but it's a little outdated (like 1.7 or something). I have had my Xbox flashed many times by other people in the past, but I've never done it myself.

ANY help is GREATLY appreciated. :D

Be on Windows 7 when you flash it.

You'll need a Connectivity kit like the CK3i and a x360 USB Pro at least.
You can use the 360 as a powersource but it's not advised.

Then just download Jungleflasher.
It comes with a very detailed tutorial on how to flash your drive.

Thanks, DinohScene.

Does that mean all I'll need is a CK3i or a X360 USB Pro? I have a budget of ~$150 for this so if you know EVERYTHING I'll need to get it done, lemme know so I don't have to backtrack ;)

Wait, I kinda get it. I'll need the CK3i and the X360 USB Pro to flash the drive. What is that about a power supply? Why do I need one and where can I find it?

Ok, I just looked these items up, and there's a bundle of the two with some extra tools added in here. It's not a CK3i though, it's a CK3 mini. Will this do the same thing?

for the price your thinking of spending on your flashing equipment, you might as well pay for someone to do the reset glitch hack for you instead. there is also the maximus lizard that can flash drives, not just xecuter tools............................sudeki300

The CK3i or equivalent is the power supply to the 360 drive.

I tend not to use Maximus tools mainly because TX is slightly better and Jungleflasher also works with TX.

Anyhow a CK3i needs a molex power supply to power the device.
So you're still kind of tied to a desktop with that. (I think that a CK3 lite can be used without a molex....)

Other then that you'll have to look it up in the Jungleflasher guide (additional hardware etc) but basically you will need a X360 USB Pro and a Connectivity kit (or use the 360 as powersupply)
