I wanted to start a thread where anyone that has used DeadlyFoez services can come in and post their experience. Over the past few years I had always read members saying he was the guy to go to, but never really saw any solid review-type threads. I had seen XFlak mention him several times, and given what XFlak has contributed to the gbatemp community I felt that was enough to ease my mind

I had a Wii that I bricked ~3 years ago and it had just been sitting in my closet ever since. It had no NAND backup, but I saw a thread in the forum that correlated serial numbers to boot2 capable wiis, and noticed this one was capable. I contacted DeadlyFoez and he said he could fix it. I mailed it out to him, and one week later it was back at my house, in full working order. He was always fast to respond to PMs, kept me posted on the status, and got it fixed and back in the mail the same day he received it, which was amazing considering it was in the heart of the holiday season.

I urge anyone else who has gone to him before for help to come in and post here so that anyone who may be questioning his talent or legitimacy can see he is indeed the person to go to.

I've seen foez post's in the Wii section and a lot of the things he said worked.

I've also seen is SD LED light mod on hack-a-day and I say I'm very impressed.

On a side note, Foez? do you have by any chance a spare old Wii drive willing to sell?

I too had my wii bricked on Christmas eve. Came to the board and manage to see that everyone had sent their wii to DeadlyFoez for repair. After a few exchange of email, my wii was on its way to DeadlyFoez for repair. Very professional and friendly. The turnaround was about a week and keep in mind that it is right between the Christmas and New Year holidays.

DeadlyFoez, thanks a million, especially taking time out of your holidays to repair my wii. Much Appreciated.

Will definitely recommend anyone that needs their wii repair.

I've been hanging around on these forums for a couple years, and I remember a couple mentions from users that said Deadlyfoez was the guy who fixed their wii. Mind you, this ratio was about 1/10, meaning that I've seen probably a couple dozen times where he mentioned he could fix the wii if it was sent to him (and if that seems like advertising: it isn't. he only brings it up where it's about the only option left).

It's worth mentioning that he can be an arrogant bastard at times. But he's the kind of arrogant guy who is all the more irritating because he is actually right about things. That alone is extra credit, as I'm sure that if he sent back even one non-functional wii, that person wouldn't stop mentioning it in these forums. So just the fact that there aren't such complaints (honestly, I've never heard one) is probably the best proof of his quality.

although i wouldn't brick a wii, i've seen enough positive posts/comments for me to give credit where its due. i'd trust it (not even regarding the repair, thats a given perfect expectation, but mainly the legitimacy of the person).

The PS3 scene is a sad place to be. There used to be some PS3 homebrew devs that belonged to that forum. About mid 2011, the same people that own qj.net bought PSX-Scene and took everybodys edit button away, thus locking them out of their own threads. They did that so nobody would delete anything. So, the mass exodus of PS3 devs from the PSX-Scene began. Then not long after, the same group of money whores (qj.net) bought DashHacks, and did the same thing, they removed everybodys edit button, and banned those that bitched about it. I for one will never give those two website my time.
