People need to stop jumping to conclusions. No data has been hacked, that pastebin is probably fake, especially looking at the passwords on there.

Good thing I download all my games.

i agree, its more simpler to code that way and ppl dont feel one will be hacked. even here in TZ a company website that we made got hacked bcz passwords arent encrypted although they may be quite difficult

The shittiest UK game retailer, most of the people working there know nothing about gaming and should be selling mobile phones. No idea why gamers buy from there, if they had decent prices I'd understand but you can get much better elsewhere. Shit even someone in Tescos knows more.

I agree..
but I only buy used stuff from their online site.
For the rest, AMAZON :).

Most people who work in any type of game store know nothing.

Their online prices are pretty good compared to prices in my country, pre-ordered games there for the 3DS for example are never more than 34.99£ whereas in my country it's 49.99€. It's much cheaper.

If you think their prices are good then you should look at most other online UK retailers and you'll find MUCH cheaper prices :P

I did look for others, but for the games I like only ones I found were gamastation (i think thats the name) and game, and both of them had the same prices and points system

That's cause Game and Gamestation are the same company.

Just wait a few months and prices online will change (upwards) due to end of the Jersey loophole.

Fixed. :ninja: (No disrespect to anyone working in the retail sector :P )

It's ending? Aw. :(

It was a shame when they bought them, Gamestation was fantastic the staff knew about games, great place for pre-owned stuff, it sold retro stuff...and I don't mean PlayStation 1 I mean Vectrex! There was some bullshit statement from Game stating that they would let Gamestation carry on as normal and they wouldn't interfere but they did and killed them.

Gamestation hasn't been the same since they started expansion, pre-game or even the blockbuster buyout, in early 00's.
The staff are children who don't know gaming before the 6th generation.
They do still sell retro games and systems, its just rare. It just comes down to the people trading in don't have anything of that era to trade in.
Game wasn't the same either after it was bought out by Electronics Boutique.

IMO the market as it is today can't go on with this mass trade-in system, nor the huge discounts that retailers give from launch (around 20% off the RRP).

The fact they say they claims were made "by the website pastebin" indicates they have no idea what pastebin is.
