Gaming Mario kart 7 hype thread

My impressions:
Great display of 3D, doesn't strain the eyes unlike Ridge Racer.
The graphics are magnificent for such a console.
The FP mode worked very well and it's incredibly easy to swap back.
All tracks are magnificent, and the classic ones are finely polished.
The online mode for this game is more robust then expected.

All these aside, lacking missions from the handheld predecessor Mario Kart DS is a huge minus.
There are very minor glitches, but I doubt anyone would notice.
Plus, are the opponents made tougher? I nearly missed my 1st a few times when playing 50cc. This happens only in 100cc in the older games.

Either way, this game deserves about 8 - 9/10. The online is beautiful, interface is brilliant and fully animated and the tracks are wonderfully done. The only major downside is the 'meh' single player mode.

That's all I guess. Sums it up.

I'm still hoping in a dlc/weekly mission mode (like on the wii)...Maybe ninty will add these things via spotpass

Had my first rage quitter just now on bob-omb blast and discovered something i dont like about the communitys, If someone rage quits then you dont get the points you would've earned if you are the last man standing. We played 1 round and i got 4points for winning, he quit the 2nd round and i didnt get the 4points i earned from the first round

I got owned by someone from Canada from this temp (it was shunji or something) TWICE. I'm a horrible player.

Got mine yesterday, nothing changes other than the new stuff added into it and still fun to play eventhough 50CC kinda looks very slow(probably its been a long time since i played MKDS),Still cant play online always get an error but somehow i am able to play one race(1vs1) yesterday.

If you are going to do that, you should ask more questions. Like what is your gender/age? How much do you like Mario Kart? etc
