In response to criticism towards the v1.2 update, Bethesda has announced that they will start rolling out Skyrim patches as early as next year. Although many gamers are asking why they should have to suffer through what feels like a beta testing phase, it is good to hear that Bethesda is going to attempt to support their software for now. We just hope this doesn't turn into another Fallout 3 situation, where they openly admitted to the GOTY edition issues but refused to fix them.
Bethesda Said said:We've also realized that with the millions upon millions of people playing Skyrim, we need to treat our updates with greater care. If we get too aggressive trying to fix a minor issue, we run a risk of breaking something larger in a game like this.
