That's the funny thing about this promotion. There will be people who will purchase two of these games in order to get Kid Icarus for free even when they can just buy it directly from the eShop for cheaper. Nintendo, cunning as always.

I was just thinking that the 3DS could do with more sub-standard free games people would play for a few minutes and then never bother with again.

If the new Kid Icarus game was generally rated 7/10, it would meet expectations and would better the best game in the "series".

You can either buy it, or get it free via 2 games you probably were gonna buy anyways.

I'm in America and would really appreciate this being offered here. Not holding my breath though. Club Nintendo North America has pretty much been nothing but a disappointment to me so far, and I'm a repeat "Platinum" member. I do like the classic 8-bit mario sprites T-shirt they just added to the rewards though ... got one for my son for Christmas. it's glorious. But IMHO that "Ball" Game-n-Watch is pretty lame for being the best gift available.

It doesnt matter. I already beat it a long time ago on NES. No interesting in it, thought. I am looking forward for Kid Icarus 3DS in the near future.. I dont have 3DS right now. In 2 years, maybe. No hurry for me.
