I think I'll duck tape my R4i clone (the edge with the sdmicro card) and place a fake ds label on it. The scanners detect duck tape I bet, so that bro ably won't work.

Hmm... Maybe I'll just put it in a case with my DS games and hope no one suspects... Yes, I think I'll do that.

Get a game holder that holds carts, put it in with carts, and think nothing of it. What, you think Nintendo has agents strip searching people at airports? I'd be blown away to discover air port security would even know what a fashcart was when mixed together with anything else. If you are that desperate, just place a common white label sticker on it, make a cute drawing and make it look like yet another fucking Puppy love little kid game.

A bomb is natively a weapon. A toothbrush isn't. The destructiveness, accessibility, and the plausibility for it to be used as a weapon is way different.
