Maybe you stil have all your fst extracted games in the games folder as well from a previous life?
You could perhaps try a fresh diconfig. bin.

@akari212 Even with sneek+ di, you will need a harddisk connected to the system.
So I don't see the point in putting your games on the sd card, unless you were talking about using sneek2o+di instead of uneek2o+di

Be aware that such a setup will use the diconfig.bin on your sd card. You might need to delete that one before you test.

@AdamBrunt, no, it shouldn't do that.

if the problem persists, you can upload your diconfig.bin and send me a PM where I can find it.
That way, I can analyse it's contents for duplicates.

I was starting from having no diconfig.bin at all. The only game in the games folder is Tintin in usb:\games\xxxxx (whatever tintin's id is). This appears, in neek2o as TinTin (FST). It also has the WBFS version of Tintin in the list and at least 2 lines for every other game in the usb:\wbfs folder (some of the games in here are in root of the folder and some are in their own folders).

As I say, I will double check later.

hi all
first of all, thanks very much to overjoy and obcd
i have tried neek2o and it works very well but i have a question , probably stupid question but i don t know.
i have my usb with two different nands ( usb:\nands\nand1( 4.3e) and nand2( 4.3u)( neek20 and nands builded with modmii). SO, if i press 1 for menu DI, than + for settings and i choise my nand2 , my wii freeze. I have to force the turnoff. When i reboot the wii, neek20 loads nand 2.
so i d like to know if is it normal that i have to turnoff the wii, or normally when i choise nand 2 , i should see the automatic reboot or what?
thanks

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't been around the last few days - I am away on a business trip. Just wanted to congratulate obcd & OverjoY for their amazing work, and for everyone else that has played a role in making this possible!

I might need to give this a shot - I don't really need wbfs loading, but all the other features sound nice... Right now I just have 3 harddrives dedicated to the different region system menus, and 1SD for when I want to use bootmii, and 1 for when I want to use UNEEK. Sounds like this would let me simplify my setup a lot

You need to wait 10 seconds before the overlay menu becomes activated.
This is due to the fact that neek2o has no way to find out if the menu has already started.

There are other reports of problems with first builds. You do know it takes 15 minutes to complete the first time?
Something you could try is a sneek2o setup without di to build your nand the first time. After this went well, you can copy the
nand folders to your usb drive and use them for your uneek2o setup. I will test things out this evening to see if I have those issues as well.

It's also good practice to delete the diconfig.bin file before you start. (if there is one...)

well my nands build in like 15 SECONDS when i build them with uneek. and if i start my wii for the 2nd or 3rd time it fully builds it. i noticed that with the first boot some folders and files are created, but somehow it stops then. i will copy my uneek nand on neek2o now and see how it works.

the nands are compatible. neek2o will only create an extra sneekcache folder for the channelcache.bin file. Maybe in future this folder can be used for an icon and a description file of the nand as well. But that's not yet the case.

well here's my report.

1. after porting freshly build nand from uneek into neek2o, everything works perfectly. games show up, are playable and the channels work too.
so there's probably something wrong with the nand building, but keep in mind that im using the drive that needed a 2-3 sec delay before usb mounting.

2. i noticed that sometimes i get stuck in the booting with a black screen. i see usb access, but after about 3 seconds it suddenly stops and nothings happening anymore (everything before the health screen). i never had this before on my uneek setup even though i've set a delay of 2-3 seconds before mounting.

3. some errors that i already had with the normal uneek but maybe you might be able to help or fix this: sometimes the screen gets stuck in the health screen when i press a. the screen is about to fade, but then gets stuck.
another thing is, that with some freshly built nands i can't access to the internet, but with some it works (copying shared2\wc24 from working inet nands to non-working inet nands, makes it work.)

i guess it will just randomly pick one first or through the alphabet or something, because in the guide of obcd he calls them nand1, nand2, etc.

the system scans the usb:/nands folder and stores all it's subfolders in the nandcfg.bin file.
It will than choose the first entry in that list. This happens only the first time if nandcfg doesn't exist.
If no nands folder is found, it will look for a nand on the root of the usb disc to maintain compatibility with the older neek versions and tools.
Normally, the nands subfolders should appear in the nandcfg.bin list in the order they were created.
After selecting another one in the system overlay menu, it will keep using that one.

No check is done if the usb:/nands subfolder contains nand folders. So don't create empty folders there.

- It can cooperate with bootmii. It doesn't launch automatically every time on a bootmii as boot2 wii.
I have a BootMii/boot2, what does this mean for me? If it doesn't launch automatically, would that mean that my slow hard drive would be recognized by the time it's launched?

Probably yes. Overjoy posted a boot.dol to launch uneek2o. You will need to change the sd:/bootmii folder contents back to the bootmii ones.
If you launch the homebrew boot.dol, it will boot into neek2o. It doesn't need bootmii/armboot.bin anymore.
