Unique skins, no affiliate link
Really dang nice. I just designed and ordered one, definatly worth a check out, and worth the $15, especially since many of those pre-made ones are already $15 anyway.

Click Browse by Device upper right corner, Gaming on the left, Nintendo from the selections, and it's the first one there, Custom 3DS Skin.

EDIT: Yes, they ship outside of the USA too.

You can do both, easily. These just stick onto the 3DS itself, it's not a case, and doens't add hardly any depth to the system surface.

Hiding an affiliate link under a regular link? That's pretty shifty...
You're using their affiliate scheme to try and get a free skin aren't you?

Still I won't lie, these look nice, being able to print your own vinyl skins is cool.
The lack of example skins for the 3DS is a turn-off though.

Figured why not, but I already ordered a skin for $15, since I know that referal links never work as they advertise.

Also, what do you expect? The system is new, once it's older, there will be as many as any other system.

Sweet, custom skins for my game consoles and even my phone. Win. Might use my sig for one and a photo of me and my friends for another. When I get paid, of course. And only if I have enough left over after I buy my chocobo.

Shouldn't there at least be one or two examples from the site themselves? The fact there is none is off-putting.

Maybe for you, but I don't see any problem with this, since you make your own skins. Why do you want examples anyway? The designer gives you a template, so you'll know exactly what it looks like before you order it.

Or you could do what I did and get a GelaSkin. They're great skins.

I purchased one and it looks nice!

You do realize unique skins has gel skins too, right? if they have a standard vinyl, they have gel as well, just click Gel Skins, and find it. Of course, they are entirely customizable too.

Yeah, but the ones at unique skins are $29.99 compared to Gelaskin's $19.99 price.

They have a virtually never ending sale of 50% off Gel Skins almost all the time, making Unique Skins's gel skins $15 too, but no other discounts can be used, and they are not in the affiliate program.
http://www.uniqueskins.com/Products/Ninten...DS+Gel+Skin?t=c (No, it's not an affiliate link, check yourself)

See? 50% off applied at checkout.

Didn't see that. anyway I might get a gel skin then if it's only $15.

Just a word of warning, since i've ordered from 'em before.

1: They print in a pretty terrible quality. Don't expect your image to be super sharp and crisp. (and for $15...you shouldn't, lol).
2: They save your custom skin in a shitty format that does NOT allow transparent backgrounds for any little images you put on your skin. Even though on the skin previewer, you may just see the image without a white background...chances are, once they save and print the skin, it'll have the white background instead of transparent. You can avoid this by making your custom skin, taking a screenshot, and pasting the screenshot onto your DS skin.

My DSi is a sexy beast, but I had to deal with a crappy first batch to do it.

EDIT: reworded 2 since I didn't like how I put it.

Easy Zelda limited edition. Just get a picture of the decal.

I don't understand what you mean.
The skin creator apparently converts transparent bgs to white. Meaning, if you insert a rendered image onto a black gb, the rendered image's surrounding will turn white, instead of remaining transparent (and blend into the black). Instead of fully relying on the skin creator, make the skin on another program (i.e. photoshop) and upload the finished skin as a whole, rather than inserting each part individually. That way, images with transparent backgrounds will retain transparency and blend into the bg.

I did make a skin for my 3DS, but not at this site...

It was some other site called "Gelaskins," I think...

Here, take a look:

That's more expensive. :P

Oh, didn't realize you could just submit a single image. I thought you needed to use their editor.
