lol i bet yah all the pirates are already playing the game since with a modified steam.dll, every games runs perfectly fine with no internet connection whatsoever :P
Uh, what? BS, MW3 has been out for at least 7 days (close to 10), EVERYONE wanted to play it ASAP, if the hackers only found the crack 2 days ago, it really means it's hard to crack and it's just not worth the effort, just wait until Steam unlocks it.

This shouldn't be surprising. It's not simply because it's a large game (although I'll admit that's part of it), but because it's a Bethesda game. Look at the lists of bugs that still haven't been patched in Morrowind, Oblivion, or even Fallout 3 and you'll get an idea, and this is after a few rather large patches each. Paying for a Bethesda game at launch is basically paying your way into an open beta and hoping the final version actually makes it to market sometime soon.

Good to see they're actually getting an early start on patching it; they'll have given up by the time the GotY edition hits the market next fall anyways, so we've only got a year or so of guaranteed work left from the dev team.

The very reasons why the last Bethesda game I played was Scrolls 3. They can take their glitches and shove it.

some people are apparently "24 hours" possibly from cracking it, and yes I can wait until Thursday night as I have successfully waited like 11 months

I hate it when I pay for a game that's un-complete.
I mean, they were making this game for about 5 years, and they couldn't fix-out all of the glitches? I thought fixing all of the graphic bugs are a first priority.
that's very unreasonable, for the very reason that this game took that long to make because of how huge it is. it will take years of public playing to reveal all the bugs and to make a patch for them.

really, if you had any idea how bug fixing is, you won't be expecting that. even simple arcade games had tens of thousands of lines of coding, and going through all that is tough. imagine how many lines of code this ginormous game has.

In the 30 or so hours I've played of the 360 version I found a couple of bugs that I hope this day 1 patch will fix.
There was one misc quest that I managed to break by aquiring the quest item before aquiring the quest. Once I aquired the quest the compass marker for it still directed me back to the chest that the item had been in and refused to recognise that I already had the item in my inventory. I couldn't work around it by putting the item back in the chest and taking it again because you can't remove quest items from your inventory.
The only other issue I've found has been that the game has frozen a couple of times on loading screens.

Yep, I played about 7 hours the first day I got it, another 11 the next day, maybe 7 the third day and 5 yesterday? Something like that.
Elder Scrolls games always suck me right in like that. I'm lucky I have that kind of spare time to play them.
