Check out this amazing trailer video of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to find out more about the different ways you'll be able to beat the game. Bethesda has been working on the game since 2006 trying to allow players to enjoy the game through an infinity of profiles combining stealth, thievery, infiltration, assassination, fighting and war, magic, forming altogether what will probably be the game of the year, of the decade, or even the 21st century.

it looks pretty good but i'll wait to see how it plays. most of their games have had serious bugs, especially with DLC. if this one is well polished i might grab it when it comes down in price. i hate paying full price for games =P.

Too bad I'm going to get it for PS3. :(
why is that too bad? I'm sure the PS3 version will be just fine, no?

well the ps3 Version looks kind of bad
To be honest, every time I see the game in a Youtube video, the graphics don't really astound me. It seems hardly a step up from Oblivion at highest settings, which is kind of disappointing. It's probably because they have some issues with the hardware limitations of the PS3 and especially the 360.

I've played the Witcher 2 about a month ago, and that looked great. A LOT better than Skyrim. But Skyrim will entertain me for much longer of course, graphics aren't the most important.

I have played oblivion a lot and I can tell you the Skyrim graphics DO seem like a huge step up, from my perspective.
Maybe your perspective is playing Oblivion on the PC with high settings, HD texture pack mods and all the stuff, but my perspective is the regular Xbox 360 version :P
seriously, the graphics look sooooo much better IMO.
Once the game is out there (i mean without videos being hunted down by Bethesda) we can do graphics comparison, should be interesting to see.

It's a step up, but I expected more, especially if you see the game has been in development for a whopping 4 years.
You should play the Witcher 2, you'll immediately see that's a really good looking game :P The world is much smaller though, which is probably one of the reasons the graphics are so good.

I'm indeed basing my opinion on Oblivion on the highest possible settings, no texture packs installed though. I'm a bit disappointed.

Have they said anything about the loading times yet? lol.

Also, for people that are complaining about graphics, they've come a long way...

Yeah, character models have improved, but if you look at the surroundings/textures, there isn't that much advancement.

Same as Oblivion? Oblivion had bad loading times.
Outside on horse > about two minutes it stops for loading > same again every two minutes > long load for town > load again entering a house. Repeat.
Plus loading times got very long after a while and required doing something about the cache.

It wasn't that bad, hardly had problems with the PC version. Only when I loaded the game for the first time it took at least 10 seconds, else it was a matter of seconds. Their was the occasional hiccup in the overworld, but it never took longer than 2 seconds.
