articles like THESE are causing nintendo to have losses. people are all overreacting and blowing it out of proportion. people believe it's going bad with a company, then the company gets into trouble. all nintendo needs to do is get some PR done.

So, basically this?

This is hilarious. He has no idea what he's babbling about.
Proof? Mind telling him that and proving him wrong?
So, basically this?
He has a cap with a round sticker on it. I've been listening for 3 minutes and pretty much all he's said is "shut the fuck up". What a douche, I hate him already.

EDIT: argh, why does the forum automatically turn a YouTube link into an embedded vid?
Watch the whole thing and his other videos.

To be fair, he is kinda mad at the media.

if there came a day in which microsoft and sony were the only console makers, it would mark the beginning of the end of gaming. both companies seem to be out-of-touch with their consumer base which may indicate y both copy nintendo. this is especially true of sony--which now seems to be full of simpletons who don't want to do any work but reap all the rewards. nintendo seems to be in the exact opposite position. working hard should be the measure of success for both companies and people. unfortunately, the powers that be will do anything to prevent this from happening--perhaps as a means of covering up their own ineptitude.

Nintendo, seriously, you big oaf. Fast track retail 3D Hollywood movies. Have it ready for THIS holiday. Make the 3DS the ONLY affordable portable 3D player in the market. Make gazillions. Make bazillion gazillions.

It's an oil well as deep as the Marianas Trench, just waiting to print money.

EDIT: lololol, jama shinai de? did he just say "don't annoy me"? XD

if nintendo is on the verge of death then what about song, they have almost 4 straight years of loss

Nintendo didn't LOSE a billion dollars, they just didn't MAKE the billion they expected to make. Companies spin their "money loss" based on their projections of money they will make. If they don't meet their projections, then they say they lost money. It's baloney.

In this economy, what did they really expect? The placed their expectations too high.

They've just announced that they're losing a lot more but I think that includes all of their electronics divisions.

Still just like Sony to copy Nintendo...AGAIN. :tpi:

Uh, Nintendo doesn't need saving, last time I checked, the Wii and Nintendo DS are still the best selling consoles in the United States, if you don't count the Playstation 2.

As long as Nintendo keeps making Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid and Smash Bros games they will keep a constant fan base and stay in the industry as a great entity.
I would like to see Nintendo start new franchises and characters, there has to be lots of ideas they have come up with that they never put to work.

It's all the FPS fanboys that say the Wii sucks, while it's true that the Wii doesn't have very strong 3rd party support, they still have great games.

I think you need to look at there first party again, they have more than that.

Also advance war wii u. :P (Just putting it out there.)

It's not like they have the cheapest hardware or a major holiday is in a month.

It's over, Nintendo is finished.

Ah yes, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Star Fox and Donkey Kong are more main series that I seem to have left out. Good call KingVamp, though I would still like to see a new face on the Nintendo forefront! NIntendo seems to just be remaking all of their current series on every system.

Ha ha ha ha, you wish!

OK, here is another good point... we just listed in this thread 9 first party franchises that Nintendo owns the rights to exclusively.

What does Sony have to list for that? I know Xbox has Halo, sorta gets hazy after that....

They have been in worse situations, like with the Gamecube sales, they are fine right now.

The only thing Nintendo really need to do at this point is drop the price of their games, the only real competition they have at the moment is mobile phone gaming, the content of these games is quickly catching the handheld market. I can get a really decent game like Riptide, Need for speed shift, Need for speed Hot pursuit, Deadspace, Tintin (Gameloft), Shadowgun, Great little war game, Spiderman (Gameloft), Modern Combat 2 (Gameloft), Samurai II, Cut the rope, Plants Vs Zombies, in most cases the graphics and content is better than my 3DS and, for at most a couple of pounds, some of these are less than a pound (Tintin and Spiderman were 99p for the both of them). These games won't kill Nintendo but it will eat into their sales. £15-25 depending on the content for a boxed game is a better price point. The e-shop / DSi Ware price structure needs a complete overhaul.

Case in point, this is coming to the iPhone and Android shortly
