Filter ist not the best...

I hope the programmer could insert a Filter where i self can insert my own games in a list.

So i can fast Load my Favourite Games.

Over 300 Games in ABC order ist a bit much to find the Favourite Games.

Greets, Holzfliege
Clarifying on the other explanation you got, the feature you want is the 'favorite' list. You can set this with the Configurator or in the options for each game to manage which games are your favourites. You can also set several profiles, each with its own list of favourites. By default, the 2 button sets you into favourites mode so that only your favourites are displayed, but you can set the options up to start the loader in favourites mode if you like and set the 2 button to switch between profiles, perhaps.

hey are there going to be any new realeses?
There will be if we have time to do anything or there is an important update required. Our personal lives are very busy at the moment and none of us has had the time to really do anything on Cfg lately. Thankfully, there's no truly pressing issues.

please help me
There's not really anything we can do to help. WBFS drives are known to fail randomly once you have a significant number of games on them, especially if you delete games occasionally. This seems to be a problem that occurs when they were formatted and is a ticking time bomb. If that is your problem, the only thing you really can do is switch to another format.

I just used ModMii to hack a couple friends' Wiis and it included a newer Configurable USB Loader than my own Wii (I think I have v67 or 68 and they have v70). The new version looks a little nicer than mine. What's the easiest way to update my own Configurable USB Loader without screwing something up? Just download the new version and unzip all files into the directories overriding everything or what?

Thanks for any help.

Press 1 and choose to update Cfg.

Ok, true, but let's assume I don't have the Wii connected to the Internet. How could I do it otherwise or is the Internet the only way?

Thanks very much.

Just replace meta.xml and boot.dol with the latest ones.

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this.

I've got several games that, when I load them, the game is shifted down off of the screen. I think it's with the PAL games, and my machine is NTSC. The one that I'm having problems with right now is Army Men - soldiers of misfortune.

I've played with different options, but can't seem to get it to work.

Any suggestions for me?

Thanks.

There are instructions for updating here. If your Wii is connected to the Net, the easiest way is just to use the online update feature within Cfg itself as specified. The offline update method is also provided.

Edit: Oops, just noticed the new page and realised I was beaten. Not used to the new forum theme yet.

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this.

Your best option is to try forcing video to NTSC.

used to play black ops online from HDD, but a while back my hdd died. I recently went to try to play black ops online from SD card but when I go to multiplayer it just gets stuck on loading screen. the cios are the same, only different is the iso on 8GB SDHC card in SD slot and I had to redownload Configurable USB Loader.

Well... ran a Syscheck and updated everything, but CFG keeps stack dumping. Switched to GX and it seems to be working for me. Eh. Weird.
Ok, scratch that. Now GX keeps getting stuck when I press A on a game, and the screen dims a bit and nothing else happens. I went back to CFG USB Loader and tried loading a game and for once it worked. Usually I get a stack dump. All my (c)IOSes are up to date, and the drive was recently formatted and set up. yet I get stack dumps when trying to load a game or download covers. What the hell?

Are Cfg and GX sharing a usb-loader folder?

Btw, why do you keep typing "©IOS" instead of "cIOS". The c stands for custom, not copyright, lol.

Sharing one? I don't think so. Just the cover images.

Sorry, I just noticed it did that. What I originally typed was a C between parentheses. Like ( c )IOSes, since I was referring to both IOS and custom IOS.

Well by default they would share the same folder. Delete usb-loader, download the one from Cfg, then try out Cfg.

The © must be part of this new forum update. I thought you were doing it on purpose, lol.

CFG was the first one I used, which was originally giving me stack dumps. So I then tried GX, which worked a few times, then started freezing. Back to CFG, which surprisingly worked the next time I tried it. I still can't download covers, nor is it picking them up.

Okay, is the usb-loader folder on your SD card or your HDD?

Hi oggzee, usptactical, gannon and Dr.Clipper, I would like to ask if CFG will ever support reading DLCs from emulated NAND?
I think this will be great since Wii memory is kinda limited and reading from usb emulated NAND will be fast in usb2.0.
Just an idea, i hope you could shed some light.

Thanks and more power!

Im trying this loader out to see what its like. Looks ok. Took me a while downloading all the game covers as I had to dl each one in turn as I couldnt see an option to download them all in one hit. Also I could see any options for themese and downloading more so before I click on serach, I assume that you have to change the theme manually.

Just press 1 when you are viewing all games. It's shown in the legend on your screen, Idk how you missed it.
