Hi! I would like to ask, how i can convert other 3D-pictures, so i can use them on my 3DS (by putting them on the SD)

so, from other 3D-Formats.
but:

Is there also an solution for those cross-eye/side-by-side 3D pictures like this one:

The most 3D pics i have are like this one, and most likely .jpg

Would be thankfull if you help/lecture me =)

There's a free program that can manipulate .mpo files just as you'd like.
http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/
It can turn two .jpg images into one .mpo file, and it can extract two .jpg files from an .mpo file.

In the case of the fly image in the first post, you'd need to take that image into a graphics editing program and split it into two .jpg files, one for each side, but after that you'd be good to go.

Well, if the 3DS is anything like the DSi/XL, you won't be able to view your own photos on the 3DS (until it's hacked). In other words, you can view only pictures taken by your 3DS or other 3DS's.
Ya, I know it doesn't answer your question, but I 'm just saying that it might be pointless

Shortly after the 3DS was released in Japan it was confirmed that 3rd party photos could be viewed on it.
There's a youtube video floating around that shows someone using photos taken with a Fuji 3D camera.

Like spiritofcat said. Use StereoPhoto Maker from http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/
Then Make a picture were both pictures are next to each other without a border:
wari0001.jpg

It doesn't matter which file format you choose.
Open StereoPhoto Maker and open the image by pressing W.
(You can also make two separate images and open them by pressing O.)
Then save the Image by pressing alt+S.
You should have the mpo file, now.
Change the name to something like this:
CCCCNNNN.MPO
CNCCNNNN.MPO
CCC_NNNN.MPO
C is for letters and N for numbers. Do not use the number 0000.

Ok tyvm, that sounds easy =) What about large images? Is there an max. size, the 3DS will accept?

I really hope that Nintendo consider releasing the Virtual Boy library as 3DS downloads.
I've heard that Wario Land on the virtual boy was actually pretty good.
Actually it might be the only title worth releasing on 3DS.

Yes, you can put your own photos onto your nintendo 3ds camera application, i made an application to help do it: https://gbatemp.net/threads/image-3ds-converter-view-normal-images-on-your-3ds.405306/ This doesnt require a hacked system it just puts your 2D photos onto your system
