John Witherspoon, he was gramps in the 2000s. They'd have a field day with today's politics. Younger audience should at least watch the show once since it actually shows how it's not so much about race but more of mentality. They understood racial issues but also knew how to make fun of them.

When you watch the show a lot, like those scenes where they keep yelling various pronunciations of the n-word at each other in the street, and suddenly your internal monologue also decides it's normal to constantly use the n-word and you have to be careful talking out loud
