After her fight with cancer for over 6 years now my mother passed in the afternoon..
the cancer had already spread to her meninges and there was nothing the doctors could do for her anymore.

I know i spoke a lot about it, to a lot of people here the last few years, so it feels wrong not to tell you how it ended.
the hospital shes at is pretty far away, my best friend is gonna drive me there tomorrow morning.

i'll miss you mom

Sorry for your loss. Having experienced it almost 10 years ago with my mother who died from stage 4 invasive breast cancer, I kind of know what you're going through. And that was less than a year after my dad passed from supposedly a heart attack (from stress). Am I over it? Definitely not. Never will be. Things will get better, but not before they get worse, and you will need support from family/friends at this particular time. There will be moments where you are okay, then all of a sudden, you break down in tears. But it's good to have a good cry every once in a while. Take things one day at a time. Remember the good times.

Talking and music, help to heal the pain.

I'll see that song and raise you Duran Duran's Ordinary World.

Somehow, this always reminds me of my dead friends and relatives....

Very sorry for you OP. When you lose a parent, you're a kid no matter when it happens, and it's always awful.
I know what it feels like, because the same happened to my dad. It's just such a tragedy. I'm sorry.

After the tumor surgery, she was very confused. They couldn't remove the tumor completely, and she was bleeding internally. she was very confused.
The last two times I was at the hospital, she didn't understand why I wasn't discharging her. She said she felt fine.
She screamed and was very angry with me.
She said I was a bad son and a bad legal guardian.
When I left her room, she screamed after me.

Those were the last times I was able to talk to her.
I don't know if you can imagine how much that hurts.
Like a hot knife through raw flesh.
Im gonna have to live with that.
Even typing it kills me.

I'm so sorry mate. That's a terrible thing to experience but it doesn't define your relationship with her. We lost my mother to Alzheimer's a year ago. The things someone says due to a medical condition/situation like that are not real, they don't represent the person's true feelings about you, it's only an expression of the person's suffering and fear. Sad as it is, your mother's suffering is over now, you did everything you could, and it's important to think about the person she really was and the lifetime relationship you had with her, not this part.
Sympathy and hugs.
