Hi,

To preface, I've recently been into shiny hunting in Pokémon Sword & Shield and have been using sys-botbase + ldn_mitm together with Sys-EncounterBot.NET to automate resetting on static Pokémon (such as the Regis for example).
After updating to the latest Fw 22.1.0 however Atmosphere will crash upon boot every time.

Files used are:
HATS-2026-04-08-718ca6c.zip (Hekate 6.5.2 + Atmosphere 1.11.1)
sys-botbase241.zip
ldn_mitm_FW_22.1.0.zip ← Fork by Lusamine that fixes a specific crash issue with Pokémon SWSH when soft resetting the game. Main version of Idn_mitm also crash on boot currently.

System:
emuMMC running Fw 22.1.0

The crash only occurs when both sys-botbase and ldn_mitm are present on the SD card. Removing either will result in a successful boot.

Some may say it isn't necessary to use ldn_mitm on Pokémon Sword & Shield as you could simply go into the in-game settings, press L+R+L3 and activate local wireless mode.
But this will only work as long as you do not close out of the game and reset, which will happen when resetting for statics using Sys-EncounterBot.NET.

I've been scouring the web for a solution but I am unable to find anything that would work for my situation.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

To anyone suffering the same issue, the solution was to delete the overlay for Idm_mitm as there simply was not enough memory left.

Next step on a fresh HATS pak is to delete as much bloat as possible or else the sys-EncounterBot cannot read the save file correctly due to RAM shifting around or something (I dont quite get it myself).

I deleted them via the hats-tools application itself.
Things like, SaltyNX, FPS locker, Themes, Mission-control.

Then it will finally start working again.

That is exactly why you shouldn't use pack like Hats. You.get a lot of stuff you don't need that take up resources for no good

I'm pretty novice when it comes to the Switch homebrew scene so the fact that HATS paks were frowned upon was news to me.
I would of course prefer to keep my SD card as bloat-free as possible.

Does vanilla Atmosphere include things like DNS blockers and other safety measures out of the box?
I'm 99% of the time staying in emuMMC but if ever I launch sysMMC CFW I don't want to connect to Nintendo by accident.
